You can always tell the morons that have allegiance to the trashy Booty family that are blind to Josh's actual performance at LSU.

He was benched, twice, during his "good" year and was outplayed dramatically by the backup in the same offense.

I was at that peach bowl. Rohan was a leader. It was obvious.

Yeahhhh. I was there. The only thing that was obvious was the WRs were intentionally dropping passes.

Not even close.....that big pussy kept flailing at those high pitches like a t-ball kiddie just getting started. Swung for the fences every at bat and never came close.

Sorry if your boyfriend just couldn't hack it at slow pitch....but by all means continue your suckfest.

Although you got a lot of down votes this is pretty accurate. He might have had a chance in Watts offense but had no chance in that shite show offense that Dinardo ran with McConnell has offensive coordinator.
Still, even with Jimbo he was a little undisciplined although he showed flashes. However I think his attitude impacted him as much if not more. You had to question his leadership skills.
He had some very nice games in 2000 and came up big at times, particularly against Alabama.
Regardless, he wasn't an NFL caliber QB. In fact, none of the Evangel guys lived up to the hype. Brock Berlin anyone?

Brett Favre threw tons of picks also. Did he suck?

he also threw for a ton of yards and a ton of TDs and won a ton of games. Booty did none of those things.

I was at all of the games. Booty had a few good games but the bad far outweighed the good with him over his career. Having a big arm and being a good QB are not mutually exclusive.

Convenient memory or he's hoping we have a convenient memory. But if memory serves, in 2000 Booty had a pretty damned good year under....wait for it.....NICK SABAN where he garnered First Team All SEC.

He's always going to be remembered for throwing the interception in the game against UAB..

rohan was hurt to begin the year. anyone who seen him limping thru the whole Tennessee game knows this. He couldn't even finish the florida game the next week. Then Booty actually played pretty good after that florida game for 3 to 4 games, so there was no hurry to get Rohan healthy and back on the field until the peach bowl.

His brother was here, Nall was pretty terrible at LSU, and Rohan has never taken a snap. It was a pretty open competition that he won.

I don't think he's placing the blame on LSU. I think he know's the timing was wrong and his decisions affected his career. I'm not a Josh Booty fan by any means, I just don't think he was saying "frick LSU."

It's really even worse. He came out while Hallman was the LSU coach.

In the end, he's right. He should have gone straight to a good school for a QB, get humbled as a real freshman (not a millionaire ex-baseball player) and get some real coaching. He had the skills.

I don't know that he ever had the right mentality. But the way he went about it made his mentality worse.

A little undisciplined?

Dude shook off a play from the bench in favor of a play he literally drew up in the huddle. And it cost LSU a game.

“A little undisciplined” is a bit of an understatement.

He came from a system at Evangel where he basically lined up in punt formation for every snap. Not exactly the best system for evaluating how a QB is going to pan out in college. As a result, at the next level, whenever he’d feel heat he’d throw off his back foot. Thus, all the picks. And they could never seem to coach that out of him.
