Its called "coachspeak"...you dont show your hand. Kelly had to do/say whatever he needed to keep his QB room intact for the spring.

Kind of a B. S. take. We shouldn’t have been throwing a one read fade to our 6 or 7th leading receiver

Here's the logic wingnut. Mizzou had over half its starting defense sidelined due to Covid Protocols, yet MB couldn't convert a third or fourth down even if his life depended on it. Then when he had a first and goal to goal from just the one yard line with the game on the line, he couldn't punch it in the end zone for the win and even though again, Mizzou had over half its starting defense sidelined due to Covid protocols.

Indeed, after royally embarrassing himself against a pitiful Moo State team, the only game Brennan managed to win was the game against the worse Vanderbilt team in many decades and for that, he should have won a freaking Heisman Trophy

Nonetheless, you dumb halfwit, when Brian Kelly arrived on campus the first thing he did was issue everyone on the team a brand new fresh slate. Which means, thankfully for MB, none of that previous shite matters.

In any event, it doesn't matter anymore because MB is already out of the running and all that is left is the crying.

It's true. Go listen to the Malik Nabers interview last week on the Moscona show. it has also been reported by numerous other sources as well, but nonetheless, Nabers spilled the beans about Brennan on the Moscona show last week.

I really don’t care who wins the job, i trust BK to start they guy who gives the team the best shot at winning.

But… I am starting to hope it’s Brennan just to see the melt on this board.

The only way that will happen is if Brennan catches Brian Kelly naked in a hotel room with a young boy.

es, I'll fully support him.

I'd start by not crapping on any of the three at the present time. That's for summer and winter.

Its fall practice time, I don't care who plays I'll support any and all.

I can even give you an example of the opposite of the "it factor" to help you out.

Former Saints QB Aaron Brooks. Looked the part, intelligent, had a big arm, and lots of athletic ability.

Seriously lacked the "it factor".

Note...I'm not saying Daniels is Aaron Brooks at this point.

ou're going to look pretty dumb in 2 weeks when he wins the job.

You don't leave a p5 starting position and throw yourself into the middle of a deep quarterback room without some kind of assurance you're getting the job.

He was brought here by Kelly when Kelly knew he had two other quarterbacks in the room already. There was a reason for that.

Be prepared for the cavalcade of responses (with no evidence to back it up) that Daniels contacted LSU and requested to come here.

Perhaps that is true to some degree. But I, like you, find it difficult to believe a 3 year starter at a P5 school with only 2 years of eligibility remaining chose to transfer to a school with zero assurance, or at least implication, that he would have the opportunity to play immediately. It just doesn't make a ton of sense that a guy would transfer to a school with the possibility he would never play another snap of football over a different school that could provide him with a better opportunity to play. Even if the other school has less prestige and winning tradition that LSU has.

I think one of two things is accurate:

1. It was strongly implied to Daniels he would be the starter if he transferred to LSU (just as it was to Burrow in 2018); or

2. Daniels did not want to play for a "lesser" P5 program no matter what, even if they could guarantee him the starting job, and chose to come to LSU despite the risk he never plays another college snap again.

Maybe number two is the case. That seems to be what happened with Rob Bolden at Penn St. He was a highly ranked recruit who started as a Freshman. He eventually lost his starting job later in the year. He stayed for his sophomore year, playing intermittently, before choosing to transfer to LSU on the eve of fall camp in 2012...at a point where Metenberger still had two years of eligibility remaining. It looks like he came to LSU largely because the QB situation was still a bit "open". Perhaps that is Daniel's line of thinking...though it is hard to think that is the case given teams are often desperate for veteran QB play

LSU needs the closet thing to a Burrow type QB, accurate passer and mobile enough to make plays when he has to. That
is Nuss not Daniels. The Daniels argument is starting to sound like the Harris/Jennings argument. To quote a previous coach “they can make plays with their feet”. With the receivers we have and the WR recruits coming in I’ll pass on that.

the same could be said for the running backs and offensive line who only managed 49 yards the entire game.

you're really going to type out that statement and don't see how that is on the offensive line and running back?

Think about that. The starting offensive line wasn't good enough to get a 1-yard push against Missouri's third string, but you want to blame the quarterback.

You have no logic, literally go out of your way to blame Myles and excuse Nuss.

It's the same song and dance as last year when you were using a different alter, talking about how Johnson was a legit running threat and was going to throw for 70% competition percentage

You didn't actually state what he lacked. There are a lot of QB's coming out of high school that are athletic, intelligent, and can throw the ball. Do all QB's that are recruited by big schools that don't work out just lacking the "it factor"? That's not really a great analysis
