re: Jordy's new youtube show is decent. Some kinks to work out.

They can make this work just need to iron out the kinks and get a little bit of structure. Sound quality should be issue #1 it got hard to listen to when Jordy raised his voice. The room is....dated to say the least but it’s a startup. Get good sound quality with some good guests and it will be a hit. That show on its worst day is still better than T-Bob in his best. The only thing T-Bob has going for him is the O and Verge weekly interviews.

Thought the first day was solid. I like the set up and could definitely see the show blowing up with some minor improvements that've already been mentioned in this thread.

Jordy's talented/driven and I'm a fan of Rivers as well.

Pretty good show and might turn out even better than what he had going at 104.5.
I'll listen every morning, Jordy is legit good and gets good guests and dives into LSU. He's going to make it with this.
People like Jordy and we have a huge LSU fanbase nationwide, like they already said this morning, people from all different states were turned in.

I really think it will be tough sledding trying to generate revenue through YouTube alone. Jordy is a regional guy that IMO has around 10k subscriber ceiling. 10k followers does not equate to much cash flow. With that said, I would think he has something else in the works to bring in steady income. Out of the local radio sports guys he definitely is one of the better ones, I wish him nothing but the best.

I tuned in and liked it- the show was much better on 104.5 when it was him leading and T-Bob playing 2nd fiddle, so I'm hoping him in the lead here is better than the radio with T-Bob in the lead.

I wonder how hardball LSU can play. If 104.5 is paying LSU to be the flagship radio station of LSU sports can 104.5 put pressure on LSU to not allow guests on Jordy's show, since it's at the same time T-Bob on 104.5? That could really stop this from taking off.

And I saw there were over 1,000 at the peak; I wonder what T-Bob's show gets? Surely more than 1,000 are tuned into a drive time radio show? I agree it's not obvious to me how Jordy can make money doing this, but I wish him luck and hope contracts with ESPN and 104.5 don't impede on Jordy's ability to get guests.
