Knowing what I know about him from back when I was at LSU, this totally sounds like something he would do.

I used to deal with both of them on a frequent basis from '09-'13. Shannon is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. Jordy pretty much acted like he did on the radio. Always had that front on. My guess is he started drinking again and it all snowballed from there.

I have knowledge of both people as well. Shannon is about as nice as they come. Jordy can also be one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet, IF you can see past his egotistical side and a little bit of a dark side. Jordy looooooves him some Jordy. It doesn't make him a bad person, it's just a bad personality trait. Jordy had a messy divorce from his first wife. It is unfortunate that his "second chance" is not ending well either.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. I think his uncontrollable desire for younger women is just as likely a culprit.

Jordy was famous/infamous back in the days when he was covering the Tigers. He would literally take off his wedding ring...first wife...as soon as he stepped on the team plane; put it back on when the team got back in town. To say he chased the ladies is to put it very mildly

So after reading the article.
1. Jordy is in his house with a woman
2. Somehow the front door is open
3. Ex-wife gets call from daughter asking to check on dad
4. Ex-wife in pajamas and cousin arrive at house, see door open and accept that as invitation to enter
5. Woman in house scuttles away to bathroom
6. Ex-wife confronts Jordy even though she's only tasked for checking on his well being
7. Jordy decides to kiss his wife the bruise her and rip her pajamas
7. Jordy pushes ex-wife and cousin outside his house. WTF are you doing in my house?
8. Ex-wife refuses medical treatment
9. Police arrest Jordy
Seems logical to me.

His wife is an attorney and got her estranged husband arrested after entering his residence uninvited. America, frick yea.
