The offense that we have run up to the WKU game will be the offense we continue to run...until it stops working, then the coaches will adjust.
Let the coaches coach. They know what they are doing. Put aside all of this horseshite about a QB controversy and pull for the god damn team you stupid assholes.

So if we need both why do some people get all butt faced when JJ is in the game?
Miles's offense is run oriented. Period. He recruits that way. He teaches that way. Both QB's are part of the overall season planning. Not just single game planning but season planning.
I'm sure that he would be happy if LSU never had to throw a pass.
So with that in mind why wouldn't he lean more to a running QB? Further why do the so called fans insist that they know the team and the team's plans better than the man that directs the team and the planning?

We definitely will only rarely get vertical against a defense with JJ. Yes, I do know that against UNC, TAMU, & the first play against WKU, he's gone deep with success. Three games in the past 23 isn't a trend, folks.
and Auburn. I will say that I think in the few opportunities he's had, JJ appears to be throwing the ball much better than in years past. I thought he was exceptional throwing the ball in the 1st half Saturday.

I disagree. I think LSU used that run some tendencies out there based off of self-scouting. We aren't going to have Lee running zone-read and option football. Just ain't gonna happen. We also showed a TON of play action with JJ, and that's not his game.
But we all know Miles likes to give DC's lots to prepare for, so now they know that we aren't afraid to do silly stuff and run QB's with incongruent skill sets in strange formations and go completely against tendency.
Just my $0.02 on the matter.

Alright man Ill leave you here to keep bitching and moaning and Ill continue to enjoy an undefeated season. From other places I have heard the class thing was a recurring problem and Les used WKU game to send a message. I hope Lee gets the start next week.

He's always thrown it deep pretty well. Its the intermediate he struggles with, due to long release and anticipation.

no one gets buttfaced when JJ is in the game einstein.
It's the fact that he started and played uninterrupted for 3 1/2 qrts that has people talking.
GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

This is BS.
JL is the ultimate: team player, class act, leader, etc. etc. etc.
He's the second coming of Tebow. He'd never do something so "thuggish" like not go to class.
He's the model of what a true student-athlete should be and I detest the notion that anyone would try to soil his good name and purity by suggesting that He's HUMAN.

Because the running QB doesn't run anything close to what Miles likes to run in his heart of hearts.
Miles wants I-formation, power formation football with counters & PA passing off of it to keep the safeties off. JJ's skill-set is not PA passing, though we ran a ton of it Saturday to go against tendency (good coaching to show some of that and go off tendency on tape for future DC's).
JJ's gonna attack a defense East-West, or laterally. That's not what Miles really wants to do. He wants North-South, power formation, wear your arse out, grind you to a fine dust by the 4th quarter football.
That will not ever be what JJ does. That's not a knock on him. At all. Its just not his game. That also doesn't mean that's Lee's game, either. But, Lee gives you vertical passing & a threat with his arm far more than JJ does, & that opens the run game that Miles favors.
Its obvious-and you can't tell me its not-to everyone that this offense looks like a well-oiled machine with Lee's insertion into it compared to Jordan. That's because Lee brings an ability that better suits our skill talent, our offensive philosophy, & what we want to do better than JJ.
That's not trashing JJ. That's not hating on him. that's simple, objective observation. That's all I'm saying.

The best QB on the team did not take a snap on Saturday!

The option won that game.
We won't see a team like Bama again.
Using that game as a reason to say JJ is better is retarded.

I dont suppose it does,, hell why dont we do this with every postion on the field then.. offense and defense?

I think the game sort of dictated this. LSU was completely flat as a team and let WKU hang around early on. But JJ was actually playing very good. So how does Miles pull JJ when he was the only one not looking lackluster out there? Tough spot for the coach on that one IMO. Truth is, none of us know what was discussed before the game in terms of QB rotation. Did the game just dictate it? Or was it determined Lee would sit 3 quarters? And who really cares??? I trust Miles and this staff. Period.
