Handing the keys to Lloyd and Noah. Said he’s lost the passion he once had and got a sales job that requires travel.

My guess is the show doesn’t last the entire year.

Why would the people taking over keep the show with his name on it if he's got nothing to do with it?

Yikes.

I don’t watch the show too often. I did when he had Wade on since we’d get real insight into the program, but no way that shite it going to last with Lloyd.

Travelling for sales gets old... he'll be back.

He said he’s staying behind the scenes as more of an “executive producer” role. We shall see.

Noah is actually very good at his age. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with the show though.

Textbook example of hubris gone wrong. Jordy had a good show going at 104.5. He was a hard worker who was relentless in booking guest. But he thought he was worth more than the network wanted to pay him. Now he no longer has a show. Particularly after he lost his inside connections when both O and Wade were let go

Listened to him a good bit when he started his own thing. Probably haven't listened to his show in years now though.

Doubt the numbers look great and wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing just shut down by football season.

I wish them the best, no ill will here. And haven’t watched in a while, so my initial take may be completely off base.

Couldn’t he have gone the Moscona route though and had sponsors pay him well? Isn’t that how Matt does it? No shot the station is paying him THAT much, even as their PD.

It was my go to morning show. When they were in that wood paneled room with Katie and all of the posters of sponsors on the wall.

Like the early Whiskey and Wine, it had a very organic feel that was fun. I feel like it really started to change when they moved into that new studio.

I would imagine that any sponsorship for the show is split 50/50 with the cohost, TBob, which Matt doesn't have to worry about since he does his show solo. Matt also has a lot of other business stuff he does outside of radio like the roofing companies and others. Don't know if it was the same with Jordy or not or how big of a difference the show sponsorship distribution is between a solo show and a show like tbob and Jordy/hester

Noah and Lloyd do a good job and I hope the show lasts even though Culotta is stepping away. Even with those two hosting, it's better than Off The Bench, even though Hester is the only redemptive quality of that show.

he wanted a bigger piece of commissions that they weren't willing to move on
Moscona makes more now since he is the program director but I doubt he's increased his commissions unless he gets a percentage of the other shows as program director

outside of football season I don't know how they do it when you don't have as much to discuss and then the summer months are awful
I know they make decent money but I can imagine some days they dread having to go fill a three hour show with decent content

I haven’t listened to much local shows the past couple years. Used to listen to JCS and Hanny almost daily.

Nothing to do with any of the hosts…combination of LSU football mediocrity and CFB not being the sport it once was.

As a daily listener he will be back by the start of the college football season.
