Right? The entire Dick Vitale saga was the greatest thing in BR radio since Blake Andrews did a live broadcast of Innes and Goldenboy playing 1 on 1 on the morning drive.

This is my thinking as well. Gordy has been cutting staff and making other money saving decisions, like no longer using licensed bump music

Good question. He's too good for a smaller market. He would do well on WWL for Saints games but that entire station is one giant SJW shitbag. I doubt he would go there at all.

The bump music issue was due to going to YouTube and the music rights because of that.

Well, that's generally not something you go shouting to people if that's the case. I mean, when contracts are ending, people know it ahead of time and have time to say their goodbyes. They don't usually meet about a contract that's about to end on the last day of the contract or tell someone they are done that day if they decide they will part ways.

I’m actually a Moscona fan unlike most, but Jordy is the best on air personality that station has/had. I really hope it’s not something to do with the not interviewing thing, that’s so low that I have to think the timing is just coincidence. Jordy will land on his feet, but hopefully it’s still in some sort of on air personality role, even if that’s a podcast of some sort.

I like T Bob as the #2 on the show. He’s good for the entertainment, and he’s good when talking about OL play and his film review of LSU football in general. But I don’t care about the Pelicans, and he doesn’t bring much to the table the other 2/3 of the year when LSU football is out of season. I don’t think he can carry the show as the #1.

Jordy also has a kid in school in BR and a fiancé that I assume lives/works in South Louisiana so if he left for another opportunity he's not going very far.
