It’s not hard evidence the benefit was improper, but it’s hard evidence of an actual benefit. The inference that the benefit was improper is circumstantial, based on the timing and the economic power of Zion’s family before he signed with Duke. But there’s no question the house existed and Zion’s family lived in it.
Where’s the equivalent proof for Wade and Smart or Wade and Reid? Where’s the proof the benefit actually existed or that Smart or Reid ever received it? And I know just the offer is enough. But literally nothing concrete has yet emerged over what the offer/benefit even was

You asked for a paper trail; not indisputable evidence. The whole point of this discovery phase of the trial is to find the concrete evidence you're asking for.
Based off of what's been released - there is more corroborated, circumstantial evidence regarding Duke than the one piece of voicemail against Will Wade.
That's the whole point of this thread. LSU is being treated much more harshly than Duke is by Dickie V for no good reason.
What's so hard to understand? What's there to disagree with?

I don’t disagree with anything. I’m saying the paper trail doesn’t have to be as defined as LSU fans think.

Good. Screw dick Vitale. His overreaction was one of the main reasons that alleva chose to suspend Wade during the NCAA tournament. What a fricking douche.

However, I hate people like Vitale that choose to badmouth another program, like LSU, and publicly shame them while letting the dukes of the world get away with the same thing and worse.
