Yep.
This is also the first time in a very very very long time where we have a genuinely massive opportunity to make the right move early and that move that the OVERWHELMING majority of the fanbase wants. Nothing gives us evidence that one or two or three more years will fix this mess.
We have the opportunity to change our fortunes. If we do not fire this man this year, we are in big big trouble.

If Ed Orgeron is truly "one of us", he'd have his agent on the phone with Woodward negotiating a "retirement". He could announce it to the world, give whatever BS excuse necessary and sail off into the sunset rich AF. Now THAT would help take the tarnish off his reputation quickly.

im sure the video will leak at the right time when woodward is ready to pull the trigger.

Is it just me or does Ed O seem familiar to Gene Chizik at Auburn. Find a once on a life time QB (Scam Newton) win a championship, than put together a mediocre season, auburn was 4-4 in SEC play the year after Cam and Auburn won it all. Than put together a 3-9 season and bye bye Chizik. 0-8 in sec play. I hope we don’t go 0-8 but a championship doesn’t buy you multiple seasons if you suck the year or two after.

We are in the equivalent of the 1989 season when LSU entered the worst era in the modern history of the program. Some would even point to cracks in the 1988 season which was the year of the earthquake game. 1989 season, LSU was preseason Top 7 and finished 4-7 and 2-5 in the SEC that year. The beginning of the LSU dark ages began with LSU going 5-6, 5-6, 2-9, 5-6, and 4-7. I was in high school for most of that shite show era and remember it like yesterday. It was ugly. 46,000 fans in the Valley days. If something doesn't get done, I can see a similar path relative to current times but not as bad. The program is too strong. It's a $100 million operation. Back in 1989, LSU Athletics was broke Af with Dean writing checks in the red. LSU is a different animal today.

O never changed his ways...the guy he was at Ole Miss, the yelling ripping the shirt off guy is who he still is. He was that way in 2019, but it was okay cause you delivered on the greatest season ever in college football. When you fail like 2017 and 2020 and now this game, now it isn't tolerable anymore.
I would be in touch with Lane Kiffin and Hugh Freeze's agents and one of them would be the next coach. Both are offensive guys who can beat Saban, well Freeze has. Yes we need to get the recruits but both can coach an offense. Go hire the best DC in the country and then we are competitive again.

Between title IX, guice, apparent video footage of him threatening boosters on private property, and the “sissy blue shirt” comment it seems like Woodard has plenty of cause to can Orgeron without having to pay the buyout. I’m sure there is some sort of “integrity clause”.

Your head coach has to exemplify some sort of control over himself.
If he can’t control himself how will he control other coaches or players.
You have to be level headed.
You can get heated on occasion but for the most part you have to be calm and cool. That isn’t Orgeron.
Makes for a great position coach trying to light a fire under the team. But at the end of the day you need a coach who can control emotions when the pressure is ramped up.

Woodward would never do it, and Sankey wouldn't allow it.
But this is one guy Saban doesn't want to see on the other sideline.

This is so true. Makes you wonder why O can't see that himself and is plagued by his obsessions to always be a HC.

It would be far more believable if he developed a heart issue than Urban Meyer developing a heart issue. Looking at Orgeron makes my cholesterol go up.

His actions are beyond unprofessional, are irrational and out of control for his position as leader of a $100 Million organization making $9 million a year.

Because Les Miles took the job at Kansas. Therefore we didn’t have to buyout the rest of his contract. Kansas did!!

Does this sound like Orgeron to you? He isn’t going anywhere until LSU makes him go somewhere else. His ego won’t allow it.
