I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but he will have to overcome the considerable preseason hype for Jacob Gonzales from Ole Miss and maybe even Ryan Ritter from Kentucky.

I don't think he was on crutches when they introduced the team, but after he was definitely on crutches.

I listened to hear segment on Hunt and Hill today. Said she was most excited about going to the other SEC schools... Kinda tells you how she feels about BR and LSU. That she would rather be at the Miss State game than see what it's like at the Box.

she's not making a lot of friends in BR.

First reported by Balcony Bengals: Jordan Thompson had surgery on his ankle last week. Will be out 4-5 weeks

We know a guy on the team and this is what we were told.

The advocate must pay like shite because people seem to take the job with one foot out the door.

Perry Roth has taken a job with the Rays. While never really reported anywhere, he was the Director of Player Development for LSU baseball. Hired on by Jay Johnson. He was never even given a page on the official website. Similar to current undergrad assistant Drew Finley.

Will LSU baseball ever get a good beat writer again?

Lady is a native Texan and a UTX grad/UTX fan. She said, today on 104.5, that "we play you in March" meaning Texas (her team) plays LSU (our team) in March. In her two trips to the CWS, she was most impressed with State fans. That is understandable since NO TEAM (including LSU or Arkansas) has ever brought as many fans to Omaha as State did last season.

In my lifetime of experience, native Texans with no connection to Louisiana or LSU have little or no respect for our state or our university. If she stays here for a couple of years, LSU Baseball will grow on her.

LSU baseball may grow on her but she’s shite at being a beat writer for baseball. Any baseball team. Just like the guy last year was shite.

Talked to him at the event. Said he had some scar tissue cleaned up in his knee. Said he would be back in a week or so. Nothing serious.
