Ricky, please take all this with a grain of salt

It just gets annoying. We get it. You don't like JJ. Hardly anyone likes JJ. So he wasn't the best quarterback, teammate, or whatever. I just don't care to laugh at him or poke fun at him for trying to live his life. Regardless of what you think of him, he was still a LSU Tiger who was thrown into the starting role at a very young age on a team with incredibly high expectations. These threads have just run their course. Let's move on.
Best of luck to him and his future endeavors.

I agree. He wasn't the best but he was still a Tiger.

They also kept a defensive tackle that had previously been announced as cut since De'Quan Bowers tore his achilles tendon earlier today.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED.

DE Da'Quan Bowers has suffered a torn Achilles tendon while participating in the club's offseason program. Plans for surgery on Friday are being finalized. After Bowers' injury, the Bucs waived LSU QB Jordan Jefferson and retained DL Myles Wade. Wade was previously expected to be waived to make room for recently signed WR Tiquan Underwood.

But but but...he was going to work on his game to be the next Peyton/Eli/Marino!
LINK
Dude never took responsibility for the fact that he is just an awful QB. He started five games last season. In three he failed to break 100 yards passing. That's just freaking pathetic.
Oh and here's a typical quote from him, post 1/9:
LINK
Delusional, thy name is JJ. I hope he finds his calling in life and excels in it. Playing quarterback is not it.

"... We have great guys in those areas and sometimes we just wonder why we don't use those guys," he said on WCNN. "But we're not the one calling the plays. We still have to go out and execute what the coaches and coordinators are calling. We can't complain as players, but sometimes we do question that."

I wont be surprised to see him at the Campus Federal Credit Union. A teller job seems to be in his future.

Would have been nice if OP had quoted the whole story.

I wonder is his auntee is going to do another interview about how the Bucs players almost all quit when they heard about this and how everybody knows who the real #1 QB for Tampa is.
