like Chase did? Same size, 6'6 250. I did not watch him during high school so I don't know if he has the hands and can make the move like Chase did or not.

Probably QB. He is bigger than Mett. Dude is made for the position. JMHO.

I could have went with.....Will Liggins be moved to DL

I thought it was a pretty good topic. Lets face it, the dude will more than likely not see much time at DE. Chase was athletic enough to make that move, don't know much about Allen, maybe he is a defensive guy only.

Yeah well, lets pray that Mett will get the ball to our TE's a lot more. Chase is due for a big senior year hopefully if they can get the ball to him.

Why? He will be a redshirt sophomore this coming year.

Yeah, it's real difficult to "make a move" to a position you were ranked Top 10 in the nation coming out of high school.

Same size, 6'6 250.

So, because they were the same size, a position change is possible?

So, anybody around 6'6 and 250 could be TE. Forget whether or not they ever played the position, or can catch worth a flip.

Let's just move all of our young players to new positions. frick em.

Yep. Someone the other day on here said that Storm Warren could possibly play tight end

He puts on the weight and moves to DT IMO.

We're recruiting TE's like crazy. The JC kid and Airline kid, and going after three in this next class.... plus the kid from episcopal who would be a big slot/wr/TE hybrid.

I say we Moffitize him into a 290ish DT. I have a want to see his motor remain on the DL.

Agree but also agree with Lester's thoughts. Think DT is the best fit because he's a soph and would be behind as an OL convert.

He probably could play TE but there is no need and he isn't the athlete that Clement is.

I thought I heard coaches were raving about Allen's performance during bowl prep. I bet either he or Justin Maclin step up at DE this year, and I am going with Allen.

People in our fanbase forget that players are not going to instantly step on campus and contribute. It is actually quite normal for players to start getting serious PT their JR year. He is only a RSSO, he can prove himself in the spring, summer and in pre-fall camp.

Thanks then you get why I was asking. I never saw him play in high school or don't know anything about him. That is why i asked.

I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure Chase was listed as a DE, not TE when he has recruited and signed.

Wouldn't he have done that already? Personally think he would be a great DT or OL but I think he has his mind made up that he is a DE.

I knew Jordan from high school before he got big into football. My ex gf's friend was dating him at the time. He was such a nerd, but then he swoll up and became pretty good at football. He's a nice guy, just one of those dorky guys. He was all in all a nice guy though. I never would've imagined he'd be at LSU playing football after the first few times we hung out though.

Yeah, I probably just pulled that info from nowhere.
