Houston isn't good, but the Tigers are playing like a team, which I had to see with my own eyes. Reth or whatever his name is, has controlled them on the inside...

Looks like a different team. Disciplined on offense and energetic on defense.
Hope they keep it up.

For some reason the defense got much better in the second half. It's like we remembered to rebound

Houston isn't that good, but LSU really played well. Good defense and actually ran some offense. Looked good as a team.

Houston isn't great but they were 5-0 receiving votes for top 25.

Funny that we were up by 20 with a minute left. CJJ was doing a lot of motioning on the sidelines. I thought he was coaching awfully hard to be up by 20. But he forgot to tell the team that the shot clock was about to run out. Oh well, congrats Coach JJ. Great second half.

Of course nobody comments when they look this good. By far their best effort against a quality opponent. This is a big step forward. Great effort on D was the deal.. And when they make 3's they're really good.

I follow the basketball team and college basketball in general. This was a great quality win for LSU against a good team. Houston was 6-0 and had won their Holiday tournament. Houston has two of the best guards around and we shut them down.

The defense was awesome. We got a hand on just about every loose ball. We blocked shots we dove for loose balls. The effort was there finally and they looked so much better it is like I was watching a different team.

Not a huge basketball fan, so this was my first look at the Tigers - thought they did a good job of shutting down Houston's guards in the second half. Looked energetic and played as a team. Next game is Dec 13th, I think...anyway, .looking forward to watching more games!

Houston was picked to finish in the top half of the AAC and potentially make a run at the NCAAT. They are also a veteran team that crushed LSU last season.

That said, this was their first real test of the season as their 5-0 start came against an awful schedule. Still, it was a good win for LSU bouncing back from a bad showing in the Bahamas. The next 3-4 games for LSU are against bad competition, so they should get to Wake Forest with only 2 losses. Any more than that before Wake would be disaterous.
