Anyone else notice JJ grabbing Crews and pulling him back into the dugout on the Thompson double

I wonder what Crews did. I'm assuming he was talking mad shite and gesturing towards the Tennessee dugout.

Celebrating was all but a bit far out of the dug out.

Umpires have been super vigilant about getting too crazy anywhere near the plate. Think he was being super careful.

Jobert got reined in too. Think it was just a matter of not trying to test the ump's patience being that far out

I didn't notice it live but the Tennessee catcher's reaction is priceless

ETA: The awareness of CJJ in the insanity of that moment is next level shite

Yep. It happened a couple times last weekend vs Arkansas.
It was a weird sight to see us get warned for celebrating last weekend at least twice I witnessed in person. Apparently the SEC is cracking down on players coming out of the dugout to celebrate.

Yep when Dugas hit the HR the home plate ump was quick to keep the players back and give Johnson a warning.

He never had to warn TN.

Johnson is playing chess while Smoke is eating cheese fries. I don’t know if Mainieri ever stuck his neck out too far.
