I bet Dishon is praying Dean works out at 1B, if not we are facing quite the decision whether to start Dishon or Landry in the OF.

well johnny could start vs lefties and leon vs right handers.

I would still rather the OF combo of leon/mahtook/jones/dishon over having dean play left.

I think if dean is struggling at first PM can convince him its best for the team if he just goes back to dh.

mahtook will probably end up in right and landry will probably be in center. it really doesnt have to do with defensive skills because they are pretty much equal. mahtooks arm is stronger and anybody with a decent amount of baseball knowledge knows this.

i aint looging at the rosters without a link

maybe this yr it has fallen off, but 2 yrs ago and b4 it was right under the cape

personally i think if you a hitter there is no reason to go to the cape.

all yr doing is proving you cant hit, they wouldnbt have invited you if you couldnt and u face top 2 roound picks with a wood bat

So you think it is smart to pass up an opportunity to prove yourself against the best pitchers in the country and hope the scouts will speculate that you will step it up at the next level? If I'm a scouting director and I heard a player didn't want to prove himself against better competition, I'd completely lose interest.

yes but i know guys who have cost themselves millions by goinng and failing

if you dont go they cant judge u against the best

the scouting in mlb is horrible; when a team loses they should fire the scouts and their director not the manager

ss from tulane drafted in 3rd round, cant hit a lick

Ah,...so it's OK for players to deceive the scouts and then it's OK to blame the scouts for the team's failures.
