Ill place a gentleman's wager that Dean is the starting 1b next season...I'll leave it at that.
Answer me this question though. Have you seen Kyle play yet? You seem to have a lot of confidence in him.

Did we sign a juco player or Mark Teixeira?

I have read what scouts have said about him...but that is besides the point.
I have stated well over three times that Dean will be the starting first baseman going into the season, but if Koeneman impresses and is a better first baseman, Dean can kiss that promise PM gave him because he will be DH or outfield. PM is all about the team not one player he feels he must be loyal to.

Dude everyone has written stuff about, Hell I have written stuff about him. Fact of the matter is, He hasn't played a single D1 college game yet and you are already certain he will be the second coming of Mat Clark. Yes there is a 50-50 chance that could come true but still, Dean has a glove and if he isn't making any errors and continues to swing a bat he will stay in the field while Koeneman will hit at the DH.
Kyle's bat by far outweighs his glove and as long as his bat's in the lineup, no one will complain.

Dude, you have taken this way out in left field. I threw out a hypothetical situation, and have stated so many times. But let's answer one question and just leave it at that...If Koeneman turns out to be a beast would PM remain loyal to Dean or go back on his promise?
Just answer me that and it's end of discussion. You have avoided my question your lasts 5-8 posts and that's all I wanna know. Is PM for Dean or for the team?

It really depends on how Dean is doing in the field...If he is a competent first baseman(not many errors) Dean stays at first and Koeneman stays at DH...That is the same answer I have been giving, it is your choice whether to accept it or not

If dean comes back id rather him at first than in the OF if he really wants to play in the field.
maybe if dean comes back we can let him play first/OF was midweekers and he dh weekends. let the baller 1st basemen play 1st on weekends

Is Dean not coming back at all worse than Dean playing 1B? I realize you want to suck this JUCO dude's dick but its 1B for god's sake. Any retard can play 1B.
FWIW, Mainieri said on the radio yesterday that Landry and Mahtook will battle for CF and which ever loses will start in RF. And that Dean will play LF or 1B if he comes back.

You're not very good at hypos.
Guess, I'll leave it at that because you're no good debating with.

Traylor acts like playing defensive first base will ruin a team like letting Big Baby come back just to launch three pointers all year.

I have agreed with you the whole time that Dean will be playing first base this season. But I have said hypothetically if this guy comes in and is an all-world first baseman he would play there.
