I remember my stepdad telling me how corrupt the LSU football program was and how the governor gets his boys to LSU.
This one didn’t. I guess Sopsher wasn’t one of his boys?

Who gives a crap what that guy thinks about O??? He can STTDB

Kennedy didn’t attend LSU. Bet he has never paid for season tickets to any sport , let alone football. My guess is that the guy has attended less than 10 LSU football games in his life. I would be willing to bet it’s less than 20 and that all occurred after he was elected Treasurer.

When I saw the title I immediately thought that Orgeron was just hoboishly sloppy looking.
I thought he was drunk.

O would be at his fundraiser if he was governor.
It has zero bearing on Orgeron’s political beliefs. He’s the head coach for the biggest sport for the Flagship University of Louisiana.
He’s always going to show support to the governor and he always should. After all the governor is, at the end of the day, his boss

Employees, including football coaches, of state institutitions should not be doing this sort of thing g at all. Regardless or party affiliation
This is a lazy argument. I get this stance if he were in a state position which required him to make objective apolitical decisions which affected the state’s function at large. He’s a football coach. Who gives a shite where he might come down politically?

If I were a Louisianian of sound mind, an endorsement by O would make me more leery of JBE than any of his actual policy positions.
Or it could result in helping LSU's future endeavors?

I do like to keep my politics and sports separate but I know that's impossible at LSU.
It’s impossible everywhere! But, I do live on the Left Coast and have to listen to socialist dribble ad nauseum.

Maybe a hell of a lot of people who give a hell of a lot of money to LSU and Tiger Athletic Fund that pays his fricking salary.
Being seen with the governor in and of itself isn’t the real problem. Being with him and actually speaking at a fundraiser for his re-election is. He should know better and for that matter this governor should know better as well.

O is kissing the ring now because he knows JBE will be elected again. LAGOP is barely even putting up a fight with governor election barely 7 months away. Voter turnout will be low due to LSU home football game that same day

I care a lot more about how the football team will do this year than whether or not Coach O went to some campaign fundraiser.

Liar and hypocrite
In my thirty years of watching LSU sports I have never seen Kennedy at an LSU event. He is a fricken Vandy graduate.
Of course he has no problems with Miles showing up at a Jindal campaign event

What he’s saying is if you don’t worship O and kiss the ground he walks on while also making excuses for everything he does you’re a bad person. It’s p&g you should already know what he means anytime he posts anything.

She should not have done that. That will turn off half their fans and most of their donors.
I won't pull for the Tigers any more if that idiot is the coach.

The man is right and spot on. One must take off their Edwards/Orgeron glasses off first. It took the Will Wade situation to bring this to light. Unless you’re involved with Athletics in some capacity or know someone, you’ll never understand.. Ed O has the Governor and LSU officials in his back pocket
