I’m pretty sure only medical professionals can violate HIPAA laws.

Medical “limitations” obviously something preventing him from playing at all or to his full ability. He played very sparingly, something like that could be as simple as asthma or an underlying heart condition that was discovered late but thankfully like they said, it will be resolved. Prayers for Emery! Next season is your time kid!

He was quoted several weeks ago that a lot of his friends in the NFL ( no explanation re those friends) had been telling him that no RB will make it in the NFL if he cann't pass protect. He acknowledged he needed to work on that & was looking forward to "major playing time" next year. I remember one early game where he missed a blitz block & JB angrily pointed him towards the sidelines. The talent was there, Clyde could just do it all, which is what Coach O said repeatedly.

You're asking a legit question. Unfortunately, there is a little tribe of idiots that roam this board posting stupid responses.

As the article stated, it’ll be figured out before next season.

Maybe his medical condition was that he was allergic to blocking.

Hey, good luck on your research into a teenager’s private information.

So you admit you are a teenager. Because that’s how your posts sound which is why everyone thinks you’re a prick.

But continue on with your halo head.

Any individual or business that handles, transmits or stores PHI (protected health information) is bound by HIPAA.

You’re right though that the law doesn’t apply to random people who come into contact with PHI via means unrelated to a medical or business function.

Example: Micheal Bonnett and LSU would need a signed waiver from Emery if they were to disclose, transmit or disseminate Emery’s PHI.

If JE tells a friend about his issue, the friend is under no legal obligation to protect the information, nor is he/she bound by HIPAA.
