So I’m watching college football final and Joey and Jesse Palmer are doing their playoff selections. Joey puts Texas at number four, saying that Texas’ loss to Maryland is acceptable because it was the first game of the year. He then says that Texas has the best win of the year by “shutting down OU’s offense.” Now, I’m pretty sure they gave up 40 goddamn points in that game, wouldn’t call that “shutting it down”
Anyway, Jesse puts LSU at four and says that LSU has a great resume. Fair enough, right? Nope. Joey says “That LSU resume is really starting to fall apart so I can’t put them in my top 5.” What retarded logic. A loss to Maryland is a loss to Maryland no matter how you swing it.

The more teams they talk about, the more people will watch. Jesse and Joey probably had to flip a coin to see who would talk about LSU/Texas, or the producer told them which school they had to talk up.

I think it’s hilarious. We’ve broken 2 top ten teams, beaten the shite out of a top two team, completely shut down another top 25 team and our resumè is falling apart compared to a team that lost to Maryland. 
how anyone can take that seriously and not just laugh at it is beyond me. It’s clearly meant to be funny.

Did he forget Ou's offense proceeded to score 21 pts to tie the game at 45-45 and lost by a last second field goal by Texas? How anyone can say that is "shutting down" OU's offense is beyond going full retard.
