JB9 just made NFL history tonight.
First for those who missed the game, here is a synopsis. The Bengals beat Sean Payton’s Broncos in OT as Joe threw for 412 yds & 3 TDs. He also had a rushing TD in regulation. He threw the winning TD to Tee Higgins with under 2 mins left in OT. Earlier in OT, JB drove the Bengals to the 16 yd line, where Cade York missed a 33 yd game winning FG as it banged off the left upright. Jamar Chase also had 9 catches for 102 yds receiving in the game.

NFL History - With tonight’s performance Burrow has thrown for at least 250 yds, & at least 3 TDs in 8 straight games. This has never been done, EVER.

On the season, JB has completed 69.8% of his passes for 4641 yds (290/gm). He has thrown for 42 TDs against only 8 picks. Joey has rushed for 202 yds with a 4.9 ypr avg.

Maybe we’ll see Joe vs Jayden in the Super Bowl in the near future.

Correct. Thanks for pointing that out. He plays at Pittsburgh next week where he may be able to extend it to 9 games.

Ironically the trash defense is part of why he could do this since they’d be running clock more if they actually put teams away early

And due to the Bengals W-L record, no matter what records he sets or stats he puts up, he will not win the MVP. Damn shame.

Reminds me of Marino at Miami and Dan Fouts at the Chargers.

It's a shame that matters so much. An MVP with MVP numbers should stand on their own without having to rely on their teammates also being good. Without Joe burrow that team is firmly in the gutter

What’s sucks is JB9 is a generational talent and he’s stuck with a really bad team.
