Burrow is immensely talented and tough. He's a damn strong, big bodied kid, with good football IQ and a fairly quick decision making process. Parts of what he shows on the field, makes him look similar to a younger, smaller Rothleisberger.

He didn't look like it was his firsfirst time leading a CFB offense this year. He will most assuredly improve. If the OL can give him 50% more "3-Mississippi's" worth of protection, it will allow us to consistently field 3 and 4 WR sets, which will ultimately change the overall offensive scheme. If not, we still have to run 2TE sets, and it'll look pretty much like it did this year.

What I've seen thus far, there's absolutely no excuse to lose to Arky, Auburn, aTm, Moo State or Florida next year. If we drop even one of those games it will be a monumental disappointment.

Haskins had an oline. He took NO sacks in the last three games, the big one being MI. If LSU oline would have done the same, his stats would be huge. That is the difference.

Is that like the promised land but in present tense?

Pet peeve, but it’s “promised land,” not “promise land.”

Orgeron will never beat Sabama. We have to accept it.

No we don't. There is no way in the world for you to know that. There are a lot of factors that go into winning a football game. Saying that he will "never, ever beat Saban" is silly. I get that you think it's doubtful, but many didn't think LSU would beat a few teams they beat this year.

Another year with Aranda (defense will always be good with Aranda)

He wont be here forever

Ed O fixes problems ( every weakness we had last year was strength this year)

LSU weakness 2017 = offense. Weakness in 2018 = even worse offense.

Easier schedule

Not sure if you noticed but Texas is in a better bowl than us and far better than Miami. Also expect Auburn not to suck so bad.

Our ceilIng is 11-1 next year with a loss to Bama. As long as we lose to Bama, we’ll never reach the promise land. We are the most unlucky team in college football. We have to play Nick Saban and Alabama every single year because they’re in our division. If we were in the east or any other conference, we’d win it every single year. Bama is just that good

I can see 10 & 2 next season. I'll be shocked if Orgeron gets us to 11 & 1.

How are we any more unlucky than the other 5 teams in the west that have to bama? Or how about Auburn? They have to play them every year AND recruit against them for every elite in state player. And guess what? They have actually beaten Alabama multiple times since we have. This is just another excuse.

Yes, Excuse U

They say O needs more time. They say improvements were made. I see two 9 & 3 seasons and an offense that got worse.

The scheme was severely limited by Oline play. I don't understand why people couldn't see that. It's my belief as of now that the anti O crowd actually saw it but would rather ignore the lack of depth and slam the coaches.

We're 11 & 1 THIS season with a great coach, 10 & 2 absolute minimum. No way a great coach loses to both Florida and Texas A&M. Panzee a*ses using o-line as an excuse, that's all. Our o-line was adequate at A&M for instance. Their hero - HEAD COACH O - cost us that ballgame. And the offensive game plan against Florida was pitiful and pathetic. This 2018 LSU smokes Florida by 20+ if led by a great coach.

Fire the recruiting coordinator then, he’s done a piss poor job over the last few seasons, according to you at least.
