That’s a great interview. More insight into his personality then anything previous. Great sense of humor and laid back.
Thanks for the link.

Burrow exposed buckeye jeaux by saying he got beat out by Haskins and that’s why he left Ohio state. Buckeye jeaux has incessantly told us that burrow never officially was beaten out by Haskins at Ohio state for QB1.

Lots of OSU fans have claimed that Burrow actually won the QB battle in their opinion. Maybe Haskins won, but Joe is such a class act I'm sure he'd never claim he beat him out and that Meyer made the wrong call.

Come on Joe, we do more than fry our food!

That was awesome, thank you.

lol, I figured he would trigger some people with that. I have to admit I started to feel defensive. Deep breaths, relax, lol.

It’s a good interview.
Joe is pretty open and honest, super confident.
I liked the part where they talked about how he could just open a shitty restaurant called Burreaux’s and be set.

Interesting how he suspected we were going to get our asses kicked by Bama last year.

Ok. Enough is enough LSU. Bring him home, Joe hates this kind of shite

That was probably the best interview I have heard with him. The long form, no breaks and uncensored is a better way and the questions weren’t so generic which we get every week. It was kind of peeling back the curtain just enough to see how he won his teammates over and why they have so much confidence in him.
This is why PMT is as successful as it is. Not only are Big Cat and PFT hilarious, but they (mostly Big Cat) are great interviewers. They get great conversation out of their guests. I have changed my opinion on a few of their guests after hearing them on PMT.

I feel like the "everything there is fried" stigma is super common... I don't understand how you can come here and say that unless you only try fried seafood.

It’s barstool. Big Cat and PFT are always fun to listen to. I’ve been listening to every podcast since 2017. They’re HUGE LSU/Coach O guys right now.

Joe needs to spend some time on the Food/ Drink board on the off season.

Some slimy a-hole is going to open this in BR & rake in cash.

It does suck. I lived in Cincy for awhile. It’s basically spaghetti.

I hope his family Trademark Burreaux ASAP

I get the feeling Joe is about to find himself flooded with non-fried food from all around Louisiana lol!

Yep. I think it started out mostly as a joke, then they interviewed him last summer and went to the bama game last year. They came out of that game knowing how awesome the atmosphere is, and they've labeled Coach O as their #1 football guy.

PMT always does a great job making interviews not sound so generic. That was a fun listen hearing joe shoot the shite with those guys

Pure Louisiana food is pretty one note. Gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, etoufee, fried seafood, etc etc. It’s all very brown and very heavy with similar spice profiles.
I mean it’s delicious, but no way could I eat it for more than a few weeks straight. Throw some Italian dishes in there, throw some Chinese flavors, some Thai, maybe some Spanish or Mediterranean dishes. That’s all he’s saying.
Which to be fair, you can easily do if you’re in Baton Rouge or Nola.
