All Americans have the right to peacefully protest, the post I was responding to brought black and white racism in and my point was race has nothing to do with me personally disliking knelling during the National Anthem.

I support your right to support this type of protest and we are not that far apart as you imply, the National Anthem and our American flag are sacred to me and again they have this right to protest peacefully and I still have the right to not like it.

Well, he’s part of the “message” now. Perhaps he will hand over the millions from his success to help the black community. Perhaps he should start with his Heisman trophy... give it to one of the other candidates who didn’t have the luxury of white privilege.

Trillions have been spent on folks living in poverty since the Great Society programs were established in 64. Apparently pouring money into the programs is not the answer.
They just keep moving the goal posts for escaping poverty.
After this weekend what entrepreneur would build any king of business in or near a poverty zone in a city with a democrat mayor?
I hope for Joe's sake Cincinnati is more stable than Minneapolis.

This claim needs to qualified (are we talking unprovoked "brutality?") and quantified (as compared to what other communities?).

Set an example. Ask the NFL and ALL pro sports and college sports to divest from NIKE, a company that used SLAVE LABOR for decades as late as last year. Put your money where your mouth is.

Why do you have a bigger problem with Nike than systematic racism in our justice system?

Just like there are good and bad cops, there are good and bad vets. You're nothing more than a hypocrite. You're so proud to announce that you are a Vet, that SWORE to protect the Constitution of the United States, and when someone uses that very same basic right you swore to defend, you get your panties in a wad because you disagree.

I'll take time to answer you morons. I support his right to protest ANYTHING he wants but there is a place and time for everything. If I protested at my job, I'd be fired (although I am my own boss..I wouldnt subject my employees to my political views.
That's why he's not in the NFL anymore. You may think he has the right to use a football game as his platform but I dont. The people that came to the game also have the right to get their $'s worth without having to witness a clown show pregame.

That constitution I defended, gives me the right to say what I want as well...on a public forum designed for just such a thing.

Now GFY!

You don't want to hear him. You have simply chosen not to. That's exactly why Burrow felt the need to say this.

Got it all figured out huh douche nozzle?

I didn't enlist. I was an officer...officers dont "enlist."
They fulfill a contract like I did for the ROTC scholarship I received.

I did serve to protect your rights but that doesn't give you or Kaep the right to infringe on others rights. Their are hundreds of ways Kaep could have sent his message out....he chose the wrong one and now he's paying for it.

That is the difference between you and I.

Yet these same people cheer on those players that the owners give chance after chance even when they have committed Domestic Abuse. The reason Kap is not playing is because the damn OWNERS took the money from the gov't. I would venture to say if the OWNERS didn't take the money, Kap would be playing in the NFL. Because other players has committed far more heinous acts than he have, yet still chasing that football.

It also gives me the right to say what I want as well. That we both are in agreement.
