Kneeling during a trite, forced showing of patriotism funded by the federal government is where you draw the line, huh? Youd fricking love North Korea, my dude

You referenced what “we seen” that’s your quote I used[/quote
The reference "we seen" is in reference to WE as a nation, Black, White, Brown, Yellow or whatever color you are has seen this behavior before from law enforcement officers.
[quote] So now you dive off into this made up story about all generations of your bloodline being persecuted because of your race.
Now you are crawfishing. You assumed I received all my views from some damn "TV Shows" as you stated. Now you're saying I made up stories about my bloodline, damn dude make up your fricking mind.

I never said tv shows I said TV or media whatever and that was in response to your comment “we seen” exactly as I understood and you confirmed “we as in a nation.” As far as your family you used some generational targeting anecdote about knowing the Civil rights movement more intimately than me when that had nothing to do with my comment. You keep saying this country has a systematic agenda vs black people and civil rights when the truth is no country does more for both. The people who push your narratives actually support the worst human rights violations in a century and support slave states to this day so like I said you’ve got it twisted. There’s no crawfishing you just misunderstood what I meant and I should’ve been more clear that’s my fault.

Lol. I hope youre not talking public education. You are right and I think everyone in America needs to recognize that this is not Just an African American Problem it’s an American problem. The police brutality is unbelievable and IMO continues to get worse when you have an occupation that gets little respect, is losing quality officers and interacts with degenerates on a daily basis! In many ways it mirrors some of the same issues as the public education system.

Ahh just what I expected when I open this thread. A bunch of negative racist stereotyping tiger fans showing their true colors. All joe is doing is using his platform to speak on something he believes in!!!! I’m with him.

fricking right! Black men are praised on here as long as they are running the football but are not good enough to stand up for to some posters on here.

It's amazing how sentiments change when shades of black is mentioned. However, the same crowd cheers loudly for black athletes who help their team win championship rings. Hatred is deep and sadly real. Seems like time will never change people.

Only from a small minority of people. The big debate here that is more evenly split is the hypo about kneeling. Both sides have a point on that one. But there is unanimity of condemnation as to what happened to George Floyd. And the vast majority are behind Burrow speaking out (only real disagreement there was whether it could backfire on him).
Quit trying to make LSU fans look bad.

Well said. I will not support anyone kneeling for the anthem, burning the flag or generally hating and disrespecting the USA. Someone asked the hypothetical question about how JB would be treated if he did such.
One of the many problems in the black community is police brutality. Body cameras should me mandatory for LEO in this country and if we have no video then we need to listen closely to what the criminal states happened. Certainly, we are having too many cases of brutality. Perhaps an oversight committee not part of the police force needs to be formed to look at questionable cases.
LEO's have difficult jobs which currently are made even harder because of those that abuse power. The current rioting isn't helping the black community. Not one person I know is taking up for the policeman that was kneeling on the person's head causing him to be unable to breath.

This claim needs to qualified (are we talking unprovoked "brutality?") and quantified (as compared to what other communities?).

Certainly have seen videos of unprovoked brutality. As far as quantified no one will ever know the true numbers. It certainly is a problem--how large? The question is what can we do to reduce the quantity of these incidents.
LEO have a difficult job, they also have a lot of authority--it needs to be utilized correctly.
Do you not think police brutality is a problem in the black community?
Do you think it needs to be compared to other communities to be addressed?

There are lots of good poor people out there, white, black, or whatever. I don't think Joe was talking about the looters and riots. Lots of his teammates are black, many came from poor backgrounds. I really think Joe just sees himself as having a Father who was a college graduate and Coach at a University, which allowed him to have access to all the things a University can provide the son of a University employee. Because of that, he really cares about helping honest good people regardless of background.
This rioting and looting nobody who has a moral compass supports that, and what I mean by nobody with a moral compass, that includes people regardless of ethnic/racial background.
