Toughest rookie I’ve ever seen dealing with the shite O-Line and Defense. The franchise better build right around him because he has some damn good potential in the future. He deserves it. Tough cracker

Dude just put up 330+ total yards with 3/0 with no O line.

His confidence should be through the roof.

He can improvise with the oline due to his pocket awareness, scrambling/throwing on the run but the defense is atrocious, he’s not overcoming that this year. They might get 3-4 wins and should be in running for top pick again

Andrew Whitworth would’ve been the perfect grandpa O-Line man. Just missed it

That is one bad football team which is why they were able to draft him in the first place. I know he is not used to losing, but he better get used to it , at least for the time being. I know he is tough, but he was getting clobbered all night. How long can that last?

It blows my mind how our college offense last year was so much better then an NFL team. We were spoiled obviously

Well, can see now why people suggested he avoid Cincy.
They did not address any OL issues w free agency w only signing a G. However they did spend some money on D but its some questionable personnel.

If you knew you were going to draft a Qb w the first pick and that the OL is crap why would you not rebuild the OL?

You can tell he is gonna be a great. It’s only going to get better imo. He just needs to experience the pace of the game with the best of the best. He will settle in and it will be a great career.

He was 37/61 for 61% completion percentage 8.5 yards per completion 331 yards 3TD and 0 picks not bad for 2nd game rookie

Draft 7 O linemen next year, I keep saying this. A couple of them are bound to be good.

Every NFL rookie that was drafted to be the immediate starter had a full offseason of camps, practices, and the 4 weeks of preseason games, and all of the practices that come in between those games. Burrow has had maybe 25% of the prep time as a normal rookie. Plus, the Bengals are fricking garbage, with a garbage o-line, and no top tier talent on offense. They need to draft Chase, then load up the o-line. Then, and only then, will Burrow be able to fulfill his true potential with that team. Man, Ii do feel bad for him, losing to fricking Mayfield.

It’s a shame that AJ Green has regressed so much over the years due to injuries. He doesn’t look 100%. That being said if the bengals can build and o line and a couple more WRs on the team that offense will shine
