19th is very close to the middle. Statistically they are damn close to 16th and not close at all to 32nd.

So this means they are still below the league average. If you consider below average decent then that’s sad. I can only imagine how motivated you are to succeed in life.

Definitely not but I know who he is lol. Liking Ensminger automatically makes me him? Brady certainly made an impact but losing a passing game coordinator isn’t a program killer. Like all the dumbasses who think Jorge Munoz would be a great OC even though nobody knew who he was until Burrow mentioned him.

you can't have it both ways. Joe Brady's results aren't his fault b/c he's working without primary offensive weapons, but E sucks even though he's not working with his top 3 receivers and true freshmen qbs. The real answer is always somewhere in the middle. Brady's insane success last year was aided by 1st rd talent everywhere but he's still a great coach. E was better with Brady by his side, but he's still a competent OC.

I think most intelligent fans know that Joe Brady was an important part of our success in 2019, but coaches can’t flourish without top talent. Our team had five 2020 NFL starters plus two future talents at WR. Our QB was the Heisman winner, and our receiver won the Belitnikof.
Brady certainly was a key ingredient, but he had top talent to work with. He can’t do it by himself.

From what I saw on Saturday night out of Max, the offense that Brady installed almost requires a QB that can make the presnap reads

this right here.

Max is the real deal. Finley may have the arm but you have to have your head up and analyzing the field pre-snap.

Just FYI, the Carolina panthers have now lost 7 of their last 8 games with Brady as OC. Also, Bridgewater has not progressed under him. Makes me wonder who really was the passing game coordinator.

What’s really missing from our offensive playcalling this year? It’s the lack of predictability and the creation and exploitation of favorable matchups. No matter who called what when last year, he was behind that and it’s gone now.

You still have mismatches in the NFL, but come on. You don’t get Jefferson and Chase matched with some guys who can’t even make a practice squad at that level. The NFL is a different planet.

Isn’t lack of predictability a good thing? Or do you enjoy when the defense knows what we’re doing.

Yes. I clearly stated two positive things that Brady brought and that are now missing from our offense in 2020 in the same sentence. Reading comprehension isn’t a strong suit for you, is it?

I would say CEH was a mis match for a lot of Line backers as well. He won a lot of one v one battles and made catches that our current stable of backs are NOT doing.

We need better pass protection better pass catching and better running out of the crew we have. Some of the pass catching is due to crappy throws but CEH made a lot of difficult grabs. That should be the standard for an LSU RB now...

You’re spot on and there is always a big deal made over physical attributes but go back and look at LSU’s championships. All the QB’s knew the offense, could read defenses ( pre and post snap ), were accurate but didn’t have the phenomenal arm strength people rant and rave about. They threw “on time “ and that is significant. Burrow was just at another level than the other guys from a cerebral standpoint. Having the total package like a Mahomes, both mental and physical, the prerequisite to being great and not just good, is the mental aspect of the game. A lot of people discount this aspect due to seeing the physical attributes on display but it’s not as important as the mental aspect, especially at QB. Don’t get me wrong, not having great arm strength will limit you but not being able to read and process defenses is more limiting, even with a great arm. Perfect example, Brandon Harris, had the arm but couldn’t process things and was inaccurate.

Joe Burrow made Brady look way better than he really was and he cashed that in.

From what I saw on Saturday night out of Max, the offense that Brady installed almost requires a QB that can make the presnap reads, understand where the blitz is going to come from, make the adjustment and get the ball to the open man quickly. TJ has all the physical talents of a pocket passer, but this is where he needs to improve. This is areas where it really seemed like Brennan learned from Burrow. An its an area that Max, maybe learned from his father, is pretty good at.

It also requires an accurate passer.
