re: Joe Alleva issues letter of apology for "frick you Saban" chant.

Not that I advocate the profane chant, but I feel that we should show Saban the same degree of appreciation and loyalty that he showed LSU. No more, no less.

You hear a lot worse at NFL games

People keep reverting to this "these kids were infants when Saban was here" and we should be "greatful" for what he built. Did it ever once occur to you people that maybe the hatred comes from the fact that he is the coach at Bama and nothing else? Could it be becuSe after we beat them in there house in 2011 the media put him front and center to beg for a rematch. Could it be becuSe they are becoming a big rival of ours in recruiting as well as the game? Could it be that every time we face them there are many questionable calls? I doubt that the fact he used to coach here has anything to do with the origin of the chants. Reguardless of what he built here. He is tiger bait.

I don't care what people say or do. Someone please explain to me how "frick you Saban" caused anyone in the stadium and on TV any physical harm? This along with many of other things that have been taken away is part of the reason TS is a shell of its former self. And before any one chimes in with how loud it was, just imagine how much louder it could have been with true die bards that have been forced out for some reason or another

The coach and AD want the fans to come out and stay the entire game and be fully invested. Then when our "biggest rival" shows up they want to tone it down. It is what it is. The reason LSU makes so much from sports is because of emotion. I do not condone it but I do not care either way. I wouldn't contribute to it.

I say "biggest rival" because I don't think you can call it that after the run Alabama has had against us.

It sounded terrible on TV, made LSU fans look desperate and trashy.

Except that Ohio State has one of the highest amount of student tickets and even has 2 sections on either side of the stadium for the students

It is my opinion that LSU has lost a lot of it's traditions and a part of it's soul since Alleva was hired.

he should be fired, soon, or we may end up losing everything that makes LSU, it's alumni, students, and fans unique.

I don't want to see a TigerStadium where we all sit down and be "polite" to Alabama...while piped in music squanders our band to play our traditional music...or bama's band to outplay our band...ever.

you can nickel and dime us to death, force us to buy from those shitty concessions.. but to threaten our students with expulsion, for a unified chant against our hated and heated rival, is downright condescending.
