Schiano is a better coach than Orgeron.
UTk fans actually had the benefit of knowing ahead of time that the AD was planning to hire him.
If LSU fans had known Alleva’s stupid arse was going to hire Orgeron, they’d have done the same thing. But we all just KNEW there was no way Orgeron was going to be the HC after he lost to UF with 7 of their starters out.
It was worth taking that loss to know we wouldn’t be saddled with Orgeron as HC. It was a relief. I thought UF had done us a favor. But instead, we took the bad loss AND STILL got saddled with Orgeron, thanks to fricking Joe Alleva. I really hate that sack of shite.

Orgeron had restraining orders against him and a record for beating women. Domestic abuse isn’t a poor character choice?
So we’ve got a shitty HC with a history of beating women. Yeah there’s a lot to be proud of right there.

Quit with the sabotage on the football. Even if constant bashers don’t mean to they cause problems for the team and the program. Sabotigers are sabotaging recruiting every day with this obsession. Our program had been declining since the end of 2011. Last year, Best LSU SEC record since 2012. If you don’t want to give him and this program a chance, at least stop CONSTANTLY bashing the head coach on sites that recruits and players read.

O is one season into his LSU tenure, has recruited well, hired good coaches ( yes Coach E ) is going to impress, so saying a shite show is not warranted.

eta: also missing the point. this was an excellent decision on Alleva's part promoting a rising star in the sport with an elite coach watching over both programs.
