JL doesn't have the escape speed that Flynn had or JJ has. JL plays with weights strapped to his ankles, and this forces him to be an one-dimensional QB that stays in the pocket and is forced to make passes that simply aren't there. Being a QB in the SEC requires the ability to escape and tuck and run when necessary, which Flynn had and Colt McCoy in the Big 12 has. JJ can do this, but JL can't.

Look, I really feel bad for Lee after his horrific freshman season, but no way should any QB be given a second chance after that kind of performance under any circumstances. Sorry, but the kid was terrible. All those pick-6's last season were completely ridiculous and unanswered for. No excuse for that many...freshman season or not!

What are you, 11 maybe 12?

JPW led Bama to an undefeated SEC season, with a grand total of -6 yds on the season, which means he wasnt succesful at tucking or running.

Jamarcus Russell wasn't exactly very fast and played in the SEC, did you want him benched when he was playing? The best QB should play regardless of past performances. Under your logic Lee should just quit football after a bad freshmen year.

Right before and right up until the the championship games began.

You know how the SECCG is that is not on any teams schedule until after their "season" has ended. Also the bowl season, the BCSCG, no teams are scheduled until their "season" is over. It was hard to miss, it was in all the papers.

That's what I thought.........so let me ask you again............did JPW lead Bama to an undefeated SEC season?

I don't give a frick what the papers say.......if you look up undefeated SEC season's Bama's won't be on there!

Really?

But the second year in a program has been good to Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide passed test after test to end the regular season undefeated.

They were the only school from a BCS conference to finish the regular season undefeated. No, they will not play for a national championship.

Even Lord Saban disagrees with you:

Saban irked Utah players, coaches and fans when he said Alabama was the only team to finish the regular season undefeated in a “real BCS conference.”

JPW didn't lead them to jackshit. That motherfricker had like 9 TDs and 7 INTs on the whole year and didnt even complete a high percentage of his passes. They might as well have been Georgia Tech

WTH conference do you think Saban was referring to???? Just replace the words "a real BCS conference" with the SEC, and it says word for word what I said

Remember how Murphy "blew up" last spring?

That must have locked up the starting job for him, huh?
