With the news of JJ being gone after the tournament. Should his replacement be someone who has LSU ties? NBA or prior head coaching experience? Or be a young hungry assistant? Each one of these has pros and cons associated with it. Just wanted to get some of you guys/gals thoughts.

I don't want a coach with LSU ties. Someone from outside with a real system needs to fix this train wreck

Go for the top names.

Unless other schools are hiring. If so, we hire an assistant on staff.

Joe Alleva is doing the hiring, so:

1. Is cheap.
2. Doesn't make me work too hard.
3. What sport is this again?

Basically another Trent Johnson type resume with a guy with some ties to the South.

LSU ties do look good. The purple and gold striped one is my fav. I think the next coach will have to at the very least acquire a couple if he doesn't have any

1. Someone who blinks his eyes every five minutes or so
2. Someone who doesn't think timeouts carry over to the next game
3. Someone who quickly realizes that his team is probably in deep $hit if he makes substitutions and ends up with 5 dudes on the floor at the same time that can't shoot.

Young Guy, clean, Mid Major, Big Dance experience, good recruiter. I don't think a Major College guy will take this job because the program is in bad shape, and Alleva's cheap.

I think everyone on this board would love to hear your"list" of who you feel is suitable for the job, since you have commented/posted on countless threads regarding Johnny Jones...

I tend to contribute to the topic....unlike some I don't reply to a thread to troll. In other words, I dont reply to a tbread only to criticize someone posting on a thread like you've done at least twice so far....

So to continue with the topic, I tend to prefer the hungry assistant..
