WHEN HE ENTERS THE GAME THE FANS SHOULD REACT AS THEY WOULD ANY OTHER LSU PLAYER. NO MORE NO LESS.. IF HE IS THE BEST LSU HAS THEN HE WILL PLAY. LET THE PLAYERS PLAY AND THE COACHES COACH...

I wish these pussies would stop using race in this debate.

Are there fans that despise JJ for his color? Yes.

But I'd doubt they are smart enough to operate a computer.

I'll credit Les Miles and the grand jury when he is named BCS Championship game MVP.

And I'll laugh knowing that it pisses rantards off that Jefferson and Miles are on the cover of the newspaper holding up the crystal ball

Why should the senior QB get an ovation for screwing up two weeks prior to a huge opening game. He and everyone who violated team rules should have been thrown off the team, but rules, good conduct and leadership are curiosities of a bygone era, my friend.

Hey, Doc, I think you meant "relegated". Look it up.

BTW, I agree that he should play only if Lee and Mett get dead.

What has he done to warrant an ovation? He kicked a man in the face

Interesting take on things...it's not like JJ is some returning war hero. I admire anyone who plays for LSU up to a point, but it is kind of hard to admire a starting QB getting into a bar fight right before the start of the season. I am willing to bet JJ will get a mixture of cheers & jeers, but in the end, I just hope our chemistry doesn't get messed up at this point. JL is the new leader, JJ is a backup only, any maybe that is how it was all suppose to turn out anyway...

My heroes welcome is reserved for the man who comes back from war, after defending our country or the fireman who goes into a burning building to save a child.....not for someone who kicked a defenseless man while on the ground, then lied to his coach.....thus throwing his coach under the bus........

sorry....

Are you assuming bar fights should all be considered minor incidents?

They generally are.

As someone that has some experience with bar fights and incidents like this I will say that no two are alike. I repeat, no two are alike.
I can tell you, bar fights (especially ones that had more than 2 people fighting) were never looked at as "minor" incidents by me or anybody that ever worked with/for or trained me.

Also, I would like to add that all evidence presented at the GJ for 2nd deg batt was for Jefferson kicking Lowery in the head. The GJ felt it did not rise to 2nd degree, that's all. They did believe enough existed for it to go to trial.

I will give him half a golf clap, but Lee will get a standing ovation.

To everyone here:
Everyone needs to put there stupid opinions to the side and the next time JJ sees the field you need to do one of two things. Shut the frick up or clap if you want.

Anyone would boo's the man needs to think first. That is not something that new recruits will hear and like. If you can't contain yourself for whatever reason on the boos you need to consider containing you hate for the good of LSU.

Yes it did and what good would it do? Nothing. Let the team know you are not behind them 100%! Congratulations!

Don't boo. Just a slow half clap will suffice.

Actually it was RR, ODB, Shep and the collective of other wide receivers that had the panic in their voices

1) We've had some of the best recruiting classes ever

2) Lee posted on his facebook that that he is better because of all he went thru (paraphrased)

Help me make JJ a better man, and pick up some awesome recruits. Boo like youve never boo'd before. "You can do it."
