That’s a hard stretch. Skip won 5 NC and built the program from the ground up. Jay Johnson is a great coach, but Skip is still Skip…

Look, JJ is great.
But Skip? He’ll always be the GOAT. Before him, LSU baseball was on par with what, woman’s soccer now? He built the program from scratch. He turned a nobody, into a blue blood. Oh, just for giggles, he was 5-0 in title games. All of us old guys know we would have lost to Stanford in 2000, with a different coach.
JJ will need several more to pass Skip, I’d love to see it happen.
