i'm pretty sanguine about it. I feel our program is on the upswing.
jimbo has a couple of years of recruiting to get things going, if he can at a&m.

there is no question in my mind that jimbo fisher is a better HC than kevin sumlin. the aggies are going to get better. how bad will it effect recruiting? well, we lost a number of head to head battles with fisher at FSU so I think our tejas recruiting will be tougher and he will steal some from Louisiana also.
LSU should continue to get the majority of Louisiana recruits and will have to work harder OOS, esp Georgia and Florida (where we have signed a lot of guys over the last 10 years or so). Mississippi may open up some also with mullen gone and ole miss having problems.
we can lessen most of the recruiting effect imo. but it's a shame we won't be able to count on the aggies with no run defense and screwing up on offense any more.

I'm not scared of a coach that has had countless top 5 recruiting classes recently but somehow manages to barely make a bowl game. I don't care that it was just one year, and he lost his starting QB, under no circumstance should FSU go 6-6, in a shitty conference, and he's lucky UF sucks so bad or he'd be 5-7 this year.

Jimbo Fisher is Mack Brown 2.0 with a lot of baggage. In 5 years Sumlin will have a better coaching record at A&M than Jimbo. Book it.
