Implies that LSU, A$M, TexAss, and Cowbells are being discussed as a pod.

From MSN/The Spun: FML

That would be the worst case scenario possible IMO. I hate playing all of those MF's more than anyone else. For me, it would ruin our schedule. I like to enjoy LSU games, not have my hearing impaired by cowbells, be surrounded by weirdos with weirder "traditions", or have to deal with over the top arrogant horses asses.

Bama is the top game in our packet every year. Can't even give away MSU and A&M tickets. Texas will get old quick IMO. You've got to be really bad to have Aggie want to get away from you.

Hopefully, Jimbo is wishing and it's not a done deal. Anyone else have any insight?

There is no chance UT and OU aren't in the same pod.

Don’t get why they’d split up MS schools

Those would be A&M’s permanent opponents, not a pod. Our permanent opponents would be different, just one of them would be A&M.

Ole miss and miss st will play each year as will texas and Okla and likely a/m. LSU has been a longtime rival of ole miss and more recently ark. Hopefully Missouri to Texas Okla pod. LSU, ole miss, miss st, r rkansas and bama

Those would be the opponents in A&M’s pod.

LSU would more than likely have A&M, Ole Miss, & State.

Most of the discussion that I remember was division into PODS. If each team had different permanent opponents, then that could work much better.

I want A&M and Texas, that’s fun as hell.

Miss state would be a good bottom feeder for that pod

I have the utmost confidence that Sankey and the SEC will turn this into a giant clusterF.

3Pod games, one permanent opponent outside & 3 rotating opponents. That gets Sankey what he wants & keeps the 8 game conference schedule (what a lot of SEC teams want.

No. Do you have a sense of humor? I guess busting on other teams is not approved of on this board? Sorry it doesn't meet your standards.

Saying "Pods" in general is dumb as hell. What ever writer started that clearly is an idiot and the echo chamber that exacerbated it are even worse. They can still be called "divisions" with only 4 teams.

Aggies are a fun sponge when it comes to tailgating and atmosphere for a game. They ruin everything. — Bama, Florida, Ole Miss, Auburn, & Arkansas are miles better as far as rivals and traditions for us.

I wouldn’t listen to anything Jimbo or A&M says about scheduling. They didn’t even know Texas and OU were coming to the SEC until the media leaked the story.

Might as well put Arkansas and Missouri in there with them

Jimbo should be more concerned right now with keeping his players from getting arrested than scheduling.

I have an amazing sense of humor, that’s why I didn’t find your pedestrian, tired joke funny.

No need to apologize. There’s tons of funny people on here, and now we all know that you’re not one of them.

Whatever the outcome, you can bet bama will be taken care of by the SEC
