He’s clearly still wanting to coach. I say why not bring him in as an offensive analyst. Give Sloan an experienced guy to lean on at times.

It’s a win win. LSU gets an opinion. Not Jimbo with total control. If he helps then he can land an OC job somewhere else. If it doesn’t work then we let him go and move on.

Lagniappe: He can recruit his arse off and would love to shove it to A&M for firing him.

He got fired in large part because he doesn't understand modern offenses.

I’d rather him not be anywhere around the program but maybe it’s just me.

Surprised to see him with all of his LSU memorabilia in his office during his segment with Hester on the radio

Dude is being paid $75 mil not to coach… and if he does want to coach it will only be in the corner office with the window view.

His ego is too big to take on an analyst position.

That’s what made me think of this whole thing. He seems to still have a soft spot for LSU

Be as it may, he still has 4 first round QBs drafted and he’s very well connected in the recruiting circles with ties in Florida and Texas.

He can reel in the talent for our modern offense to run with

Like bringing Pelini back to be a defensive analyst

Jimbos offense is what got him fired

I just can’t picture his goofy arse actually hunting. Maybe a high fence zoo style hunt?

Does he? I know he is doing a weekly radio show that Hester. Has he said he’s looking to get back into coaching?

Because Saban used it on guys like Sarkisian. Not washed up, used car salesman Jimbo Fisher.
