Coach Job Status: signed for 10 years 75 million

A&M will never be a serious threat to win anything of significance, too many thoroughbred programs in the league. Can also lump UT into that when they are in the SEC

I hear you and that’s a possibility. It’s also possible that we run Jimbo’s offense in 2019 and some of those Jimmy’s and Joe’s aren’t at LSU.

Your numbers ignore that LSU is a much better situation (was anyway) than a&m. Jimbo seems to have flipped that. This is just weird thread to make. If you wouldn't take Jimbo here right this second, I don't know what to tell you.

aTm is building their program steadily under Jimbo. They’re bringing in more talent and their defense is respectable now. LSU is complete shite since 2019 bc meathead got all his hires and no more Aranda. We better make the right hire or we will become aTm’s bitch for the foreseeable future. Laugh all you want but look at their roster vs ours.

Yea it would be awful to have a championship winning coach known for developing QBs that took a soft A&M team and has them in a much better spot than they were when he got there.

At FSU Jimbo proved he could take over a slightly slipping former powerhouse loaded with relatively (to the program's history) undervalued recruits and a generational talent at QB and win a championship. And then bring in higher ranked recruiting classes while the wheels fall off.
The only difference between him and Orgeron is the amount of time before the wheels came off.

Jimbo has proven he's not capable of managing the personalities in a highly ranked recruiting class. They won't live up to the hype.

That's a total bullshite statement. Jimbo has as much to work with if not more at A&M and he's been a mediocre head coach. Jimbo would have definitely gotten Joe Burrow & Joe Brady, right?

I didn't understand the jimbo hire. He had that mnc at FSU, but that FSU team was probably the weakest mnc ever. A flash in the pan, if you will.

for whatever reason, I’ve heard it’s booster interference, aggies always shoot themselves in the foot and are never serious contenders
