This is what I figure too. It just didn’t work here and it’s honestly probably best for both parties for her to leave.
How would her leaving be better than her taking a 6th man role?

Not sure if any of you noticed, but I'm pretty sure she said something in the MTSU postgame presser about playing her last game in front of the PMAC home crowd. I think it was a slip up and not an intentional comment, but I'm 99% sure I heard her make that statement in the press conference. Not something she would say if she intended to come back for another year.
Does it mean that either HVL or Reese leaving for WNBA?

Yeah, heard that too. A Freudian slip, no doubt. Would not be any point for her to say she is playing her last game in the PMAC *this season.*
That statement was a good indication she is gone when this season concludes.

I have confidence in Coach Mulkey and Coach Bob matching her skills and play to the position that ensures her greatest success.

Well. Good hire for Kentucky. Kenny Brooks from VT. Took the Hokies to the Final Four last season.

Definitely a step up from Elzy but while his teams are good he's complained about the physicality of teams in the ACC. Better put on some big boy pants for the SEC.
Also, allow me to dream of a world where Georgia Amoore enters the transfer portal for her 5th year though she'll probably just to the W.

I was about to post this. Speculation with Brooks leaving is that Amoore will transfer. This could be Kim’s point guard.

Do you really think Mikaylah Williams or Flau’jae Johnson will be content to come off the bench? That ain’t gonna happen. One of those two will transfer if it comes to that.
Some people look at it like it’s a video game… Mulkey has to manage personalities and promises. HVL was supposed to be developed into a PG so she can go to the league. She’s not coming back to be a 6th man. Johnson and Williams are not coming back to be first off the bench either. Kim will either have to choose, or someone will make the choice for her. Either way, that’s going to end up being a locker room issue if they try to run it back. That’s why I said best for both sides for HVL to go.

Amoore is top 2-3 best PG's in the country. That would be a dream if transferred to LSU, but Poa wouldn't be too happy about it. She is on an international student visa from Australia. Not gonna get NIL since is international student. She will probably go to WNBA since she is projected top 10 draft pick.

I'm still confused by this. Oscar Tschiebwe was an international student and he was very open about the millions UK found to get him to come back for his senior year. Kitley has also mentioned a couple times on their podcast that Tech fans need to come up with money for Georgia to get her to come back.

Calipari refuted that and said that was misinformation and inaccurate, and of course it never happened because he went to the NBA. Slippery slope with international students. An international student visa is unable to "work on a job" in the US. Immigration law prohibits it. An NIL is a job representing and working for a company, like Angel does in her NILs. International student can be included in a Collective NIL at a school, but again cannot "work" for a company. You can lose your scholarship and sent back to your country. You can earn NILs and make millions in your own country, or other countries, just not in the US. You can also earn $$ through social media, twitter, instagram, etc, since it's not a job.

Poa doesn’t matter—at least as far as CKM bringing in a starting PG—which I’m sure she’ll do. You definitely can’t lose Williams or Johnson over a crowded backcourt situation, but Poa leaving over Amoore transferring in? That would be a don’t let the door hit ya situation.
Poa is a gutsy role player. She will never be the starting PG at LSU. She simply isn’t good enough.

Why would HVL move on? She won’t be drafted. Playing overseas in offseason and coming back next year.
