Good riddance.
Clemson and bama say hello. They change and adapt.

Quick while you have all of this football knowledge run down to the football operations building and tell them this hot take so they can implement the slackster offense over the offseason. You need to tell them now so they will have time.
It's not a "hot take." It's this scheme that allows 95% of high school teams and 50% of college football teams punch way above their class. The spread offense was literally designed to negate disparity in physicality between two football teams.
Smaller schools know that they can't line up with Alabama or LSU or Georgia hat on a hat and have a chance. So, instead, they spread the field, get the ball out quick, and try to scheme around the fact that the other team is more physical and talented than they are.
For as much as some people here like to talk about the talent disparity in the trenches between LSU and Alabama, y'all sure are quick to defend an offense that requires our OL to consistently beat their DL for our offense to have success.

Who is defending?
It needs to improve

Only a complete 90 year old dumbass would defend this scheme!

That comment wasn't directed to you. I've seen you post several times that you think the offense needs to improve.

I think the OP was a distortion of what Sullivan said, but I do agree with your assessment.
Not sure how one could distort him literally saying 5 going out for passes is good, but not good for play action they wanted play action
Which if you watched any games... I think I'm not the first to notice excessive play action.

Which is completely futile if you can't establish a running game first, like against Alabama.
That game was hard to watch. Long developing play action plays that let them eat us alive. They teed off on Brennan the whole night.

You think a defense actually respecting your running game is not important for play-action to work most effectively?
Do tell...

That’s not what they do at Clemson.
