We are the main reason for the dilemma.

The guys so shocked or pressing so hard for Hill to be punished will be back here in December demanding a quart of blood from LSU football if we dont reach the SECCG or a BCS bowl.

They expect the team to go undefeated no matter what, the players to be boy scouts, and the coaching staff to be perfect in all decisions.

Show of hands. How many of you really thought that JH would make it through his career without fricking up...again? C'mon man!

fricking up again? Really? His first "frick up" was getting a BJ from a freshman chick (consensual) as a senior in HS. How many guys in HS would turn down a bj? If you would then you might have the ghey. Jebus H. some of y'all act like he's a multiple felony offender who sells drugs and robs banks. He got a bj and got in a bar fight! That's it. True story. Now I agree that he should have just walked away especially since he's on probation but some of y'all are being ridiculous with all the thugPOS talk.

You're right. I'm sure the 8th grader was totally up for a gang-banging from the varsity football team.

You know you are 14 as a freshman in HS. I was always under the impression that they were in HS together...

Actually, depending on the state you live in, you can. It's called "fighting WORDS"... and a judge can place blame of a fight on the person that invoked "fighting words". The problem is the judge may not always agree that the words spoken were offensive enough to be considered "fighting words"but the idea that you can say anything you want to anyone without any consequence is totally incorrect.

I'm not sure that the n-word would fall under the legal 'fighting words'. Now if I were to say, "I'm going to kick your arse" that would be fighting words.

Man, I guess I look at the law a different way from most people. I like to form my own opinions about different situations, not if they are legal or not. I'm guessing some of these guys didn't get a BJ until they were 25 or something, but getting a BJ from a girl in HS isn't that big of a deal. Yeah, he probably shouldn't have had his dick on camera, but whatever.

It's funny how quick people here are to judge character issues when they have never met the character before. What's that saying? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone?

Yeah, that's the thing. I'm not black and haven't ever been called a "n..." by some drunk racist. We have no gauge of how that comes across because we never have been in that situation. Yeah, I know the best thing to do would've been to walk away, but those probably are fighting words for them. Problem with fighting words, like alluded to earlier, is they are subjective

He didn't force anything

Hill and another ex-Redemptorist student, Avery Tate, pleaded guilty Jan. 6, 2012, to engaging in a sexual act with a 14-year-old girl in a school locker room in December 2010

^ That's the unofficial story. What do you know that no one else does?

a freshman in HS gave a senior a blowjob. Nothing was forced, she was willing participant. I knew of seniors in HS hooking up with freshmen a fair amount in HS.

Okay, it's official, LSU players just need to stay away from bars!!!

It's true man, I'm not saying that the players can't have fun, but there's been too many times in the past where players have gotten into trouble late at night/early in the morning at bars and clubs and it just messes everything up. I know that Coach Miles really can't control what his players do in their own time, but I think these players need to realize that they are messing up their future by putting themselves into situations where things could go really wrong. Jeremy Hill has a lot of promise as a football player, if he wants to mess that up by getting into trouble, he only need ask Ryan Perrilloux how that song and dance goes. Geez

When I was in High School in the 70's this wouldn't have even been a crime. I'm glad I grew up when I did.

Ditto.

There were a couple seniors dating freshmen by the end/middle of the year every year.

Parents found out and flipped their shite.

I didn't realize it was taboo to point out that 14 year olds are in fact sexually active.

Yep...they have entire MTV shows dedicated to dumb girls that get preggo around that age.

Blowies were pretty common for 14 year olds TBH.

Yeah, when we were HS freshman, one of our friends was dating this freshman at SMU. She was pretty developed for a 14-15 yr old though, had modeling pictures and everything

ETA: I shouldn't say everything, but swim suit pics

me too, and a bar fight didn't end up with assault charges, it was called disorderly conduct, you went to the drunk tank for 4 hrs, went to court and the judge asked you if you liked the jail cell, you said "no sir" he said fine, pay court costs and have a nice day.

I'm sure we'll give the cat another chance just as we did with Ryan P, Jordan J, and Matheiu.... Only for another arrest to occur and leave the rest of the nation thinking "WTF is up with the lack of discipline on LSU's football team."
