I think Jennings coming in against Auburn and looking "better" than Harris is the equivalent of Jefferson coming in and saving the regular season game against Bama in 2011.

Miles wanted to start Jefferson immediately after the legal issues were resolved, but couldn't because Lee hadn't given him a reason to until the Bama game. Once Lee faultered, Miles was able to have his security blanket in Jefferson....we all know how that ended.

Now fast forward to last Saturday's game...Miles is forced to start Harris but immediately is able to go back to his security blanket in Jennings after Harris had a rough go.

My point? Get ready to see Jennings start the rest of the year unless he looks absolutely terrible.

What? No it's not.

Jennings still looked like shite, just not as shitty as Harris.

Except he really didn't. JJ added a second dimension of running that JL didn't have, thats not the case here.

This is so fricking retarded it's not even funny.

We beat Bama. We got arse fricked on Saturday.

Lee threw two picks. Harris didn't turn the football over.

Jefferson did good enough to not turn the football over and put us in the win column. Jennings did absolutely nothing better than Harris did.

God, you people are fricking dumb.

even if he looks terrible.

Jennings will start and play every game going forward.

LSu will not win an SEC game.

Or Les didn't want his freshman QB to become mentally scarred by continuing getting pummeled by Auburn.

You're missing my point. I'm not saying the games are similiar or that Jennings looked great or even decent or half way competent.

All Im saying is that Miles is going to point to this game and say, "See, I started Harris and it didn't go well....back to Jennings."

He's that stubborn. Instead of giving Harris a chance to be the future, he's going to fall back on Jennings as the "safe" option.

Meh, I still like and root for Jennings regardless of his performance. He doesn't come off as a smug, pouty prick who throws his teammates under the bus. That was my biggest issue with JJ, his demeanor.

This entire post rests upon the presupposition that Miles can't start whomever he wants, whenever he wants, for any reason whatsoever--or no reason at all. No one forced Miles to start Harris. He made a call. I mean, who else can force his hand (even should). He is very nearly unfireable.

Yeah, you've really nailed your predictions so far this year.

Harris will play 9 snaps against New Mexico State.
Jennings will state against Auburn.

You're such a hemorrhaging vagina.

If LSU loses to Florida and Miles sticks with Jennings, Tiger Stadium will be empty for Kentucky game.
