He is a giant a-hole who the players only have to deal with for less than 2 years. Boosters would run his arse out of town very quickly.

I played for him. He’s an absolute hard arse on his players and assistants. Practices were brutal. But he can flat out coach, we were always ready to play. It’s like you have zero room for error with him. Playing for him has to be what it’s like playing for Saban. He doesn’t care about your feelings. It’s about Win and win big

Not in favor of LSUE guy but Wayne Graham jumped from San Jac to Rice and that worked out

Really stupid comparison. Wayne Graham made Rice baseball. They had literally zero tournament appearances before him.

He's not anywhere near the list. McNeese's head coach would be on the list before Willis if we had to really reach.

Wasn’t the point

The point is a great JUCO Coach went to a D1A school and did pretty well, so it isn’t that far fetched

I didn’t compare anyone to anyone else at all

Wayne Graham of Rice was a dominant JC coach. He seemed to do pretty well at Rice.

Yeah, Willis is awful. Winning national championships consistently with scraps.

Do you think the other teams in their second tier division are playing with top shelf talent?

Why not?

It's a crap shoot anyway. Take a guy who would take less pay for a step up and a chance.

Hell...Orgeron worked out. Despite this board's expert opinions.

No.

But they are playing with similar talent.

Idiot.
