But you are not the coach and he is. If he thought it would be detrimental to the program, I would think he is smart enough to understand this and keep him away from the media.

Too bad he didn't ask the rant for their opinion.

Make that 18-9 if Lee doesn't bail him out vs Tennessee and Florida. Heck, if we're going to single out who won what games, I vote for Patrick Peterson and Tyran Mathieu to get a victory in the West Virginia game as well.

Yeah it's NOT a team game is it?

Yet what about the idiots (your term) that feel he should be roasted alive without being found guilty of anything more than a lot of players did that night?

I couldn't care less about the incident that night, kids will be kids

Just looking at it through football binoculars, JJ isn't a good QB and JLee and his not having to look over his shoulder is what has led this team to such a dominant start, period.

The one thing I can't stand about JJ is that he can NEVER admit anything he may have done wrong,

To the extent of going 4/20 for 60 yds at McNeese and saying he played well

He's probably being careful with his words because he doesn't want anything that can be used against him to slip out. Simmer the frick down bro.

Strange, I thought JJ was about to win you over with this press conference. I mean, you've been so open minded about JJ through all of this.

He said he takes responsibility because he has to, FWIW. Also, the entire team was there?

im just going by what JJ said. Have you not been following?

And so does he have to apologize?

oh, without a doubt.

like this presser. he can't apologize.

apologize to the fanbase, his team mates, his coaches, and let everyone know he's working hard to do whatever it takes to help the team.

not tell everyone that you want to still be the starter and have a 20-7 record of winning games

this is just mind blowing.

What has he said that should inspire confidence in his growth or leadership?

Do you think taking credit for wins is being a team player?

So, various pundits are oitting this entire situation as a Pro-Lee crowd vs. a Pro-JJ crowd. This is absurd. The majority of the people fall into the Pro-what's best for LSU crowd. JJ has started far more games and has played less efficiently than JLee. We want a NC. End of story. Play Lee until he gerts hurt, plays that poorly, or we have a major sized lead.

So it's personal to you isn't it? Really?

Why does that bother you?
Why are you and so many others personalizing this?
Why do statements like this make you angry?
How does this in any alter your way of life?

couldnt disagree with you more. The sole reason being these two play two extremely different games. a huge percentage of JJs plays, Lee cant run. Lee could have had most of the starting reps in the offseason, instead of 25% or whatever his portion was. Lee himself even admitted he's gotten better since the Oregon game as coaches have been working with him on his mechanics.

Barring inside knowlege of the off season program, your statement is mere speculation. Would Lee have not gotten better with more practice regardless of who started? I think that all of the players have gotten better with practice. That is really a porus argument.

more like common sense

I doubt it. I'm sure that there are some legal things he doesn't need to say, but he also doesn't need to spout off his "20-7 record as a LSU starter". I guess last year's defense and special teams, not to mention Jarret Lee's passing us down the field had nothing to do with JJ's sparkling record.

Are you JJ's brawd? JJ put himself in a bad situation, kicking people in the head or not, he got suspended 4 games which IMO is fair even if this was labeled a misdemeanor from the start...people are missing out on the fact that Lee has made LSU look their most dominant on offense in 3+ seasons.

Have any of you played any type of sport above JV ball honestly?(I'm talking to Doc,Lee,Dbg etc.) Bc if u did ur goal was always to be a starter not #2. Those guys that are happy with being #2 in life don't make it very far.

He said he accepts responsibility u tards. The team was there why should he have to apologize to them and i say frick the fans.
