What make Jefferson and Johns look so bad is that not only where they in the mix, but they lied to Coach Miles until arrested. That should be enough to kick them off the team. Landry and Davenport too.

If anyone can spin this to the positive to get the best out of the players, it's Les frickin Miles.

I feel bad for JJ. I think this thing is being blown out of proportion.
That being said, I'm more comfortable with Lee at QB than I am with JJ. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

You are trashy man. Jefferson may not be a great QB, be he always represented LSU well off of the field. He kept out of trouble and did his job, and was getting glowing praises from everyone this entire offseason. JJ does not deserve to be spoken so ill of. This is his first mess up, albeit a bad one.

I support the LSU Tigers. I wanted to see JJ lead the team to win an SEC and BCS NC. Lee's my guy now, as well as whoever is behind him. They can still do it.

Very disappointing. I was really excited about Jefferson this year and it's a shame this had to happen.

+1 I didn't know they lied but it did appear they did. And I agree that made things bad for them.

hmmm....only the season will tell but what i've seen with my eyes makes me nervous as hell. i'm not sold on JL's ability to play with any confidence.

No but finding out JJ is off the team reminded me of how I felt when Perrilloux was dismissed. At least we don't have to play freshmen this go round....
