Yea, lets get mett to learn a whole new offense for his sr yr, after taking 8 games to get comfortable with the current one.
Awesome idea

Our offense is really clicking right now and with everyone coming back they aren't scrapping everything and starting over with a new system in Mett's final year. Come on now
Exactly.... The offense is finally worth a damn and the tards want to bring in an OC.... never amazes me around here....

Sandy Barbour? Is that the former Tulane AD?

But if there was one reason for Tedford's downfall it was his inability to find another big-time quarterback after Rodgers left following the 2004 season. The Bears ran through a group of pedestrian passers like Joe Ayoob, Nate Longshore, Kevin Riley, Brock Mansion and Zach Maynard.

Our offense is clicking except in the red zone.
Hiring a true OC would be great for LSU.

BTW, here is Cal's Total Offense per game the last 5 years:
2008: 376 yards
2009: 392 yards
2010: 334 yards
2011: 401 yards
2012: 391 Yards
Average: 379 yards per game
Not very impressive, especially when you consider that those numbers were put up in the Pac-10/12
LSU is averaging 395 yards a game this year, and Tedford has topped that number just once in the last 5 years

You don't think Mettenberger has developed this year?
I haven't heard anyone come to that conclusion.

most of you would just bitch and moan about him too
Tedford might very possibly choose the quick release of Rivers over Mettenberger.

Tedord would do just fine at LSU.
I've never been impressed with Stud in any capacity of coaching, and don't see why LSU doesn't just part ways with him altogether after this season. He has really only successfully recruited one player--Spencer Ware--in his years here, so to me, he would definitely not be missed. LSU can do better at both OC and OL.

Les Miles works with the guy every day, and they have a pretty good record, if you keep up with such things. I will take Les's opinion of him over yours, and it isn't close, sorry.....

I would rather us trade Mawae for another coach.

Hey, Dickson looked great Saturday night. Where's he been all year? Ensminger's been keeping him under wraps or what?

No way this staff contributes to anything but failure, doom and bbq.

some people are never happy no matter what the result is.

All 4 stars, if I'm not mistaken, so the kids had potential.
ATL just hates what LSU does so much, he has to reach to grab anything he can find.
