I don’t know what’s worse, this take or the botching of everyone’s name.

At first I didn’t know if you meant Marcus Randall or JaMarcus Russell.

Found one, I stand corrected, there are still a couple morons who think that.
Yeah, it’s rarely argued any longer, but was prevalent back then. I don’t know about this guy, but some clearly had racial motivations.

And the passrush will be more excited Daniels is back there... see how easy that is?

So you're agreeing that the defenses won't be excited at whomever LSU names as its starting QB? Nice.

I do believe that’s why you’re seeing all the backlash to the Daniels hate. Posters have seen some of the bad apple takes previously. And when we just had a white WR celebrated like a champ for transferring, that’s not a good or consistent look.

What I see is criticism of Daniels painted as hate and some people trying to use race as a dismissive smear tactic to shield him from any criticism. I don’t see people taking personal shots at him only comments about his play.

Yes. Just 12 more starts should make him a proficient passer.

Seek help. Seriously, football aside. Get some help.

Criticisms of his play are fine. And I think valid criticisms are justified. However, there have been some very sketchy posts for weeks begging him to leave LSU by any means or fashion necessary that I fully believe have a racial component.

If Nussmeier wants to leave, then fine. If he doesn't want to wait for the possibility to start for a couple of years, that's his choice. Either way, LSU will be just fine.

JD5 is the best QB on the team right now. DWI

But yes, the backup QB is always the “best” and needs a shot

The usual white trash are mad

Yes, everybody that wants a "Pass First" QB is White Trash and are mad.

Everybody that prefers a QB that can stand in the pocket, look at the Defense and read it, quickly make adjustments/corrections, go through WR progressions and then accurately matriculate the ball down field to open WR's, TE's and RB's are White Trash.

Please start up the juvenile name calling because the "White Trash" majority" aren't thrilled with JD5's "Modus Operandi" of being a "Run First" QB.

I think the "White Trash" majority" are more concerned with all those points being left on the field because the QB can't or wont throw the freaking ball to all those open WR's.

We just want LSU to win and win Championships.

That's not happening without maximum efficiency from the QB position.

Hopefully, RB's Holly and Jackson will show enough in the Fall to warrant getting most of the carries, thus disabling JD5 from getting free reign to "Run First."

Kelly, Denbrock and Sloan will probably spend most of the Spring force feeding JD5 the intricacies on how to effectively throw a football.

Hopefully, it's a truly "Open Competition" at the QB position and the chips fall where they may.......

I think you have to go back further. Spring game Nuss was a lot better than JD, it was clear in that practice so people expected Nuss who looked really good. We go to the fall and Nuss is with the 1s until he gets hurt about 10-14 days before the opener so fans are still thinking he’s QB1. Then Daniels gets a week with the 1s and named starter. He has ups and downs, the warranted criticisms come then the UGA game happens and all those fans questioning the decision to start him and how cemented his spot was are now convinced Kelly made a mistake. There was also a couple of instances during the season that were suspect. The point is it’s a built up curiosity that was confirmed in a way and some fans see it as too close for JD to be an absolute fixture.

IS A WORTH TO LOSE A 5 STAR TO A RUNING QB I DONT THINK SO !!!

See, any reasonable person understands that we would be more likely to lose that 5 star if Daniels left. Daniels returning makes it more likely that 5 star stays and is our qb in 2024. Hatred can cloud the mind and not let you you think straight.

Yeah, the valid criticisms and how it played out are a lot different than praying for the dude to transfer or declare or whatever gets him away from LSU. Kid doesn’t deserve that at all.

It’s really on BK to choose his QB. Blaming Daniels for BKs decision could be even worse because it’s nonsensical. Not trusting the coach’s decisions should get the coach ire, not the player.
