I know you weren’t responding to me. I’m responding to the fact that use spewed out the same dumb arse shite as other people have about comparing the schedules. There is no comparison 2019 played a hoarder schedule to this point in the season than this team. That’s not a knock on Daniels!! The only knock he will have is playing an FCS opponent, when it really comes down to voting and LSU’s chances at the playoffs should they went out.

As opposed to the 2019 murders row of 7-5 Texas Georgia southern 3-9 vandy 6-6 miss state and northwestern state?

Well sure you can. OP did it. Should and shouldn't is a ridiculous thing to say. Stats were invented to compare players on different teams and in different years. The limitations on it are apparent to everyone so again I have no idea why doing so makes some people so defensive. JD is fricking good. Arguing that is dumb. Stats simply go the way of quantifying that. It's why LSU keeps records.
If you read my post history, I never once said anything other than Daniels should be the leading candidate for the Heisman. So saying that he isn’t good is disrespecting what he has done. In no way shape or form. Am I disrespecting anything that he has done.
It’s like these dumb arse arguments comparing players between generations. Tommy Casanova would be the best football player on LSU’s football team this season as he would’ve been last season, the season before, and maybe the season before that even with Joe Burrow playing. That’s not disrespecting Burrow or Daniels. It is stating that neither were as good football players and likely will never be as good as Casanova was as a football player. He could have been an All American at MULTIPLE positions including RB, LB, Corner and Safety. He DWARFED EVERY dB on the PP7 team from a photo with him. He was an GREAT GREAT ATHLETE judged by his number of pro bowls in his short NFL career. He chose an option that made him more money than he would have in the NFL anyway.
Back to what I’ve stated and stand by…
All I’m doing is giving you the facts about the level of competition Daniels has faced head to head in the first seven games of the season are not the same level as what Burrow faced in 2019, thus the stats are skewed in Daniels favor. It is the schedule and not his fault.
I also stated that we shouldn’t compare the two until after the season is over to be fair to both. Why? Because Burrow beat the number seven ranked defense in the country in Florida his first 7 games. Florida ended up 11-2 on the season better than everyone’s defense on LSU schedule this year with the exception of maybe Georgia who presently sits at number 5. The 2019 beat during the regular season the end of year ranked 7 UF, 13 Bama, 17 AU. In the SEC Championship playoffs, 1 ranked UGA and in the playoffs 3 ranked Clemson defense.
Daniels will get his shot at TAMU at 10, Bama at 16 and UF at 20. The issue with that is NONE of those teams has a worth a shite offense whereas in 2019 Bama, UF, Clemson had really good to outstanding offenses. So it matters.

When you hate Jayden Daniels so much that you still can’t give it up

And you left off UF? Why? GSU FCS stats do not count unfortunately when it matters to playoffs, Heisman, etc.

Burrow didn't finish many games

You are a dumb bitch. No one is saying Daniels is better than Burrow. The poster is pointing out how special the quarterback play is this year
On top of that, the dumb frick posted a team stat in an attempt to downplay the comparison of individual stats.
Like JB himself went 7-0.

Better yet why don’t y’all do in game stats like every quarter update

Yep.
Show the stats to prove your point? Line up those defensive stats, opponents schedules, FCS, etc. you won’t because when you look like I have, you’ll realize only FSU at 22 is the best defense LSU has played where the 2019 team played UF in the first 7 games that was giving up 9 PPG to that point wo to the most at 21 where LSU put up 42. And for the remainder of the season 18 PPG with the most at 28 in a bowl game.
Against similar competition in FSU and UF. Burrow had a 94 passer rating against UF and Daniels had a 64 passer rating against FSU that’s 94 versus the number three ranked defense in the country and 64 bank versus one in the top 20 maybe.
I look at defensive stats when measuring a Teams out offensive performance versus an opponent. For example, Auburn has the 56 ranked defense in the country. Before the LSU game is still wasn’t much better. But we all thought differently.

Look at the two schedules through the first 7. While JD isn’t Burrow, your take is horrible and not factually based at all

What does this even mean? Are you protecting Jayden from the horrors of being compared to the best QB to ever play for his college team?

Number one not true. Number 2 northwestern is fcs.
As for the Florida I had previously said that they were the second best team. And I responded to a post that negated Florida state.
FSU>UF. Take off the top two opponents for each FSU and UF and Daniels still has the tougher slate SO FAR.
We haven’t played the full season. Burrow became the goat based on the second half of the season.

Burrow in 2019 through 7 games = 7-0
Daniels in 2023 through 7 games. = 5-2
Stop with all the stupidity of comparing the two, Daniels hasn’t played the competition or as many top ten teams and won’t
I really and truly hate idiots like you. We have some of the worst fans in the world.
Yeah, it's Daniels fault Matt House sucks dick as a DC. Any half arse defensive staff would have this defense in the top half of CFB. Daniels and company would be 7-0 and frick sticks like you would be calling for Nuss.
Piss off.

By game 7 we were thinking Burrow pretty much had the Heisman locked up on a field that touted one of the deepest draft classes of the last twenty years offensively.
Before the Bama game?? The Bama game made him the front runner.

FSU was not > UF because the FSU defense as I’ve stated several times in this thread. FSU doesn’t have a Top 20 defense and Daniels had a 64 passer rating and it was MUCH MUCH worse until a 75 yd TD with a minute left in the game. Whereas Burrow was nearly perfect against a Top 3 defense in UF with a 94+ passer rating. That UF defense was allowing 9 PPG to that point in the season and had only given up 21 to a single team. They only gave up 28 once to a team in the bowl game versus UVA. They were a GREAT defense as seen by their end of year ranking. Burrow hung 42 on them.
There is no arguing that 1 game out of 7 which, if you recall the UF game, they were about to tie the game until the Stingley end zone pick, was right there with LSU in BR in one of the best game experiences I’ve ever been since first going to games in the 60’s while in school.
In 2019 UF was the second best team in the conference in 2019 based on the balance between offense and defense. UGA was not as good offensively as them but got them with their defense - BARELY.
