You are aware that the vaccine only mutates when it transmits from one person to another? If 80% have the vaccine, then 80% less likelihood of the mutations. The whole point of the vaccine is to stop enough people from getting it to where the mutations never catch up and therefore the virus dies out.

Are hospitalizations even going up in any significant way? It’s insane people are still being such idiots about this.

If you’re vaccinated you’re not going to the hospital. And while delta is more contagious it has less severe impacts thus less likely to be hospitalized.

JBE needs to stop worrying about case counts because an even higher % of the cases with be asymptomatic and less severe just based on scientific facts.

I guess, but it had been steadily falling for awhile and then leveled off for quite awhile.

Doubling in a short period of time isn't the best. If it keeps the same rate then we are "in trouble" (in the sense that restrictions will return).

Obviously, there is a cap on how high it can go given vaccination and natural immunity numbers.

Incorrect, the flu has been around forever, most people get vaccines every year. It just mutates into different stains. Coscam will just do the same, doesn’t matter how many experimental vaccines you pump into people.

You sound just as stupid as the "we're where we are because people didn't wear masks" morons from last year. These people will keep taking power whenever they feel they want to. You justify it by a "surge" that is minisucule. You enable them, just like you did when you voted this moron in.

The flu stays at low numbers most years compared to Covid because of vaccines and because it is not as contagious. I can explain it to you, I can understand it for you.

I enable nothing, simply point out reality.

You cannot blame the scorpion for stinging the frog, for it is in its nature. You blame the frog for putting the scorpion on its back.

Politicians are all scumbag pieces of shite that will do anything to gain a microscopic amount of power. Not getting vaccinated because of retarded, ill informed nonsense reasons invites them to seize that power.
