What exactly has JBE done for all the hate on an LSU board? Jindal hired King...who hired Alleva who everyone friggin hated......

Now Alleva is gone, King is on his way out......

Tuck your R or D aside......

Things are better now. Obviously more than 50% of the state agrees

JBE passively said he will shut down LSU football to get budget talks rolling a few years back and the pipe fabricators of tigerdroppings got offended.

This thread lives but all of the others calling out that POS who threatened to cancel LSU football along with John Alario survive!?!?

Neither one of those guys should be there. The "no standing" govnuh and the RINO Alario are just there for a free trip on the taxpayer dime!

Funny part is y’all don’t even notice the real big politics at work. How did Alario manage to be sitting next to The Governor

The guy at the end of the row paid for the trip?

I agree it was rude and awkward. And like you, I don't care much for the governor. But I'll give him a pass for this. I don't think he expected Burrow to keep going down the row shaking everyone's hand. There's only an instant to react and with it being national TV at the freaking Heisman ceremony, it's forgivable to commit a social faux pas.

I’m not a fan of JBE but who cares tbh. This was just a great moment tonight for Louisiana and LSU. Can we not just enjoy it and put politics and everything else aside? This is a special moment for all of us who love LSU so let’s just enjoy it for once. Not too many of these kinds of opportunities

JBE went from winning comfortably by 13 points in 2015 to just scraping by 2 points four years later in 2019 against an absolutely incompetent republican candidate that did damn near everything he could to earn the loss and he still needed to win Orleans parish by 10 points more than Obama did in 2008 to pull that off.

Hell, JBE had 52% of the electorate vote against him in the first round.

What's more is that the GOP captured a supermajority in the state senate and came within two votes of that in the House of Reps as well and JBE's leverage is even worse now.

I actually thought it was pretty cool. Politics aside. It’s not like he was doing this to appeal to voters. He’s just a LSU fan and wanted to be there. I would have done the same thing if I were him.

Maybe it will become a thing from here on out.

LSU received 10 tickets for the actual ceremony. Why did he need to be there? Should’ve given those seats to Burrow’s brothers or grandparents.

Governor Edwards and Coach O are buds. Take your Debbie Downer act elsewhere, snowflake.

When did standing up to shake hands become grandstanding? But at least you admit he was grandstanding.

Burrow must be a republican because he didn’t even acknowledge him. Or he didn’t know who he was. Either way JBE got completely shunned.

So how does all this explain Alario being there on the La. dollar? He was right next to JEB. Mite give you JEB, not Alario. Birds of a feather.

I took it more of a sign of the entire state supporting Joe Burrow. More symbolic than politics.

Not a JBE voter either.
