Jayden’s stock dropping with LSU fans

This is going to make it real clear that Jayden’s fans at LSU are first and foremost LSU fans.
NFL needs to make a minor league. Just go back to student athletes and if certain players want to make NIL, they can go to the NFL minor leagues.

I have always said that CFB fans care about the school, not the player. All these mercenaries that want money will never compare to guys of yesteryear. The players feel like they are the main attraction…and they are, but to an extent. I maintain that if you replaced Bama and LSU players with D2 guys, nobody would know any better so long as the competition level was consistent.

In college this is very much the case since so many fans actually have ties to the school and players ( even pre NIL ) were only in the jersey for 3-5 years.

Trending more and more to 1-2 years. If players have no to loyalty to the school, the fans will have no loyalty to the players. This stuff goes both ways.

The only way I can see Jayden saving face in this whole mess is if his mom is willing to take the fall and say that she had the cease and desist letter sent without consulting with Jayden first and that he had nothing to do with it.

Spent 2 years building a damn fine legacy here.
A little bit of this petty horseshite, and it’s all up in smoke overnight.
Regardless of how this eventually turns out, people will look at Jayden differently now. And not in a good way.
