I bet Texas Tech is very happy about all this.

I still don’t understand how a man that is preparing for his NFL season has time to take action against LSU. If he was so concerned about his number being used and Kiffin was the new HC, why didn’t he contact LSU about his concern months ago.

Jayden didn’t accomplish shite for LSU. Time to put his Heisman in the cleaning closet.
What a princess, guy blows his entire brand, which will cost him many millions in advertising deals and any chance at getting a cushy TV commentator job after the NFL….and everyone not just lsu fans agrees on that.
over what? a fricking number at a team he doesn’t play for?
I’m not even mad because he already ruined his own life, complete self destructive revenge where lsu didn’t have to do nothin’

only reason anyone knows about Billy Cannons accomplishments is because LSU talks about it every year.
Well - some of us were at that game - and nothing has ever surpassed it for in-the-moment-excitement.

Yea, yea, yea I've talked to almost all 700,000 of you in my lifetime..
In all seriousness though, I don't think I've had a moment in TS quite like that one so good for you Bandit.

No, he’s unfathomably dumb also. He could’ve and still could put an end to this but he chooses not to.
He’s just as guilty and responsible for this insanely stupid debacle.
He’s dead to me.
I agree with everything except the "dead" part. But I am out on him and won't be rooting for or against him moving forward. Indifference.

Does he have an iconic play to go along with the entire body of work?
Cannon had the Halloween night punt return.
Burrow Had 3rd and 17.
Only thing I can think of is the overtime TD run against Alabama.

If he doesn’t drop it and keeps pushing this and forces LSU to remove everything, then I hope LSU scrubs him from the record books completely like they had to do with Guice.
You want it to be like you were never here, cool we can do that too. Nobody is bigger than LSU.

I’m actually enjoying it. I hope he keeps it up. Let’s see what happens.
I can’t wait for Sept 5 to see if they show him up on the Jumbotron for the NFLSU segment. I think the crowd will be absolutely waiting for it. And if he’s in there, I think the boos will be deafening.

This story will be gone in a few days as the news cycle moves on.
Jayden was lied to and he got his feelings hurt, but none of this means anything. If he lets it go, LSU will still love him

By let it go, do you mean issue an apology or rescind the C&D letter he sent to LSU or the letter he sent petitioning to have LSUs copy of the Heisman trophy sent to his High School?
He can't just do nothing and be loved at this point. LSU and their fans are not suffering from short term memory loss.

Jayden’s Legacy
He has no legacy now. He won the Heisman, the Sun Bowl and the Citrus Bowl. Other than that, he did nothing for ASU or LSU
FYI, other Heisman winners that have no real legacy
Travis Hunter
Caleb Williams
Johnny Manziel
RGIII
Sam Bradford
Carson Palmer
Rashaan Salaam
Doug Flutie

I agree if he nips it early people would have forgiven but now it has been too long.
This should have been handled in private. Im betting mom wanted it to be public and it has backfired big time.
But Jayden had the chance to quickly deal with it and it has become too late feelings are raw now on both sides evidentely and not just LSU.
Is the LSU Heisman even his.
I thought one original to player and copy to school.

Jayden is a grown man who can make his own decisions and did, he is dead to LSU faithful.

Its not. Thats why it was entirely petty and stupid. They make two copies. One for the school and one for the player. That was definitely not him that was his mother but regardless its still stupid and a completely terrible look. Too deep now.

Our AD and whoever else need to handle this and put it to bed. Both sides need to address their issues and make it clear on the numbers be used and or not. I know it seems clear to us but even Joe B said they said 9 would not be used. Cannons 20 is only number that is off limits at this time from what I understand

Um, no.. He’s gonna have a little damage control to do at this point. Have you even been looking at this board? Have you seen the Facebook comments? The X comments?
He is currently persona-non-grata here. There’s a way back but it’s gonna take some reaching out. The current vibe here is clearly “he’s not one of us”.
Like I said, I enjoy the experiment. Let’s see what happens Sept 5.
